So i got a rant tonight, not my usual thing but im really pissed off with poloniex, I have what apparently was called a legacy account, which they are moving away from. Then now require you Id number off your photo id to register your account, And until such has been added they have frozen my account, which is fine, Except i uploaded my info yesterday and they have yet to process it, im still frozen,,, Anyone else use polo and have issues with updating their account ???

i had similar experience on bittrex when one day they just locked my account and i could not withdraw or trade anything until i provided them my documents including selfies and passports. once i did that it took them a couple of weeks to process and unlock my account. i would have identified with a simple notification but they did not need to hold my funds hostage for that.
i myself have never trusted bittrex enough to use them
I tried over a year ago to prove my identity to poloniex, and they never bothered to tell me for months whether or not they had the time to review my documents or not. Very bad procedure. I'm having the same problem you are expressing with goldmoney now. They insist that I use my webcam to scan my passport or drivers licence, and that is the only way to send them a crappy image. All of these exchanges keep asking for the name of my secret lovers, my favorite flavor of ice cream, and what my favorite illegal drug is. My goodness, is there any personal information that is safe, and anything they will settle for just to say "Here take my money. Spend it if you want, just take it so I can use it once in a while."
Thanks for the post. It is nice knowing others are running into the same walls. One would think there would be less regulated, better services, and more decentralized exchanges with the speed technology is heading.
Its pissing me right off, normally wouldnt bug me to wait but i owe for a SP delegation and gotta send some bitcoin to my steemit
Well they released a notice earlier three months before doing that so i did the same and its safe but don't know about the recent scenario may be its time to move funds away from poloniex as they are losing it completely
No customer support at all and stopping withdrawals also poloniex is not great to be honest
Their customer support definantely sucks a bag of dicks. been waiting for days now. and i mean all they have to do is review my account, see i submitted my id, and boom problem would be solved.
well i had a personal experience sent sbd on poloniex and it never get deposited till now their support don't even exist in this world i mean how they are running such a big exchange
Up until this i had no complaints i sold bitcoin, doge, bytecoin, monero, ripple and ethereum on there with no problems. and missing the notification to upgrade was my own fault, but now that i got my info sent, their slow ass processing is definately annoying me haha
ohh thats a bummer i can see why you would be frustrated... hopefully they get that fixed up for you asap.

Lol apparently it was supposed to be done long ago, i just missed the notification, so now my account is locked until they review the info i just submitted. but their being slow reviewing it.
