Yes. I'll say it again so it can sink in. Doctor Who blockchain cards.

I'm talking about the Doctor Who that has had millions upon millions of adoring fans, nearly a thousand episodes and a run of more than fifty years. The Doctor Who that has single handedly defined many aspects of the science fiction genre.

Licensed by BBC Studios themselves, news of this project just landed.

Here they are on Twitter so you know it's real

What's This all About?

Well, to be quick and clear, BBC and Doctor Who are developing a trading card game on Ethereum. While this game will not be released until 2021 (no month specified), the presale will happen in October of this year.

At this point, all you can do is sign up with your email to be notified about the sale. They are actually offering a free pack (not sure what that means) for signing up early.

What Does This Mean?

I welcome you all to draw your own conclusions, or even better yet: Watch the whole thing play out and comment on it afterwards, instead of presuming or expecting anything. To me it means that no one can hide from blockchain, especially in the gaming world over the next few years.

So go ahead and follow Doctor Who Worlds Apart, go ahead and enter your email at https://doctorwho-worldsapart.com/. Strange and interesting events are certain to follow.

I know! :)
There are already various solutions hitting the scene, like the Matic Newtwork.

They way that gas prices have tanked their gaming activity, Ethereum must have major scalability plans in the works. I imagine they'll just use blockchain for the features that can benefit from it.

Really?!?!? Hahha so random
