So I was mucking about on my couch when my housemate came home. We shot the breeze then started talking about our next steps in business (we are both recently funemployed).
He wants to run a restaurant from our kitchen, and have the food delivered like on UberEATS. I was uncertain about my next steps so chatted about my options. In the conversation we began chatting about BitCoin, and the brain sparks then began to fly.
My house mate is in a band and had recently acquired a new lead singer. Thankfully the lead singer is a newly set up on BitCoin, and is making some serious money off of it.
He put me in touch, and I’m now a profiting trader myself.
One of the joys about being unemployed is having all that extra time to yourself. Thankfully this time has gone into the study and trading of crypto currencies.
For someone who’s a complete novice, I’ve already made a 10% profit 👏 in only 2 weeks.
Many people in South Africa have heard about bitcoin but don’t really know what it is about, and because it’s relatively new haven’t done anything about it. How silly.
So here are 3 basic steps to make you a BitCoin investor.
- Step 1: Get registered with Luno.
Luno is a South African based company that converts Rands into BitCoin and vice versa.
So go download the App called Luno. Create an account and wait.
Once you have registered and provided a picture of your ID document to them, they’ll take about two days to confirm that you are real person and that your ID document matches up to your details. The ID requirement is a global legal requirement, so don’t freak out about it. - Step 2: Get Rands into your Luno App.
You do this by putting money into their account via bank deposit so that you have Rands in Luno’s eWallet to convert to BitCoin.
Luno are with Standard Bank, and if you are with anyone other than Standard Bank or FNB this could take up to 2 days to reflect on their system. - Step 3: Convert your Rands into BitCoin.
Once the Rands are into your Luno eWallet, convert them to BitCoin (they’ll show you how to do this in the Luno App, it’s easy).
Woohoo, you’re now a BitCoin investor.
So if want to hang on to your BitCoin and wait for the value to rise up you can stop reading right here :)
If you’d like to trade the BitCoin and make profits off of the other cryptocurrencies, then stay tuned for my next post...
Well done bruv!
