Last weekend I read the Horizen white paper thoughtfully , and the financial model that is there "between the lines" shocked me (when I finally got everything together). Basically for most of you what matters the most is: ZEN is going to be reallyscarce because of the fixed 21 million supply and "ZEN to sidechain transaction coin burn" with every deployed sidechain which will use ZEN for its base currency (not necessary but at least valuation of sidechains coins) it will imply an amount will miss in ZEN blockchain more scarcity, so with every project build on ZEN sidechain platform there will be fewer ZENs ... now I can see Barry's statements: ZEN is going to be in top 10 coins. The tech behind this coin will attract more and more projects to use sidechains and it will drive the price to incredibly high amounts. Then there will be a "forging/validating" role - something like today's "node operator" - and that is another way how you will be able to earn a token/ZEN (based on what sidechains will offer to you for signing back-to-ZEN-certificates-transactions). Then there will be a DAO sidechain - which will have to have "voting rights" which will be based on "locked ZENs in that particular sidechain" (again, everyone who will want to vote has to lock the coins) -> more scarcity. I hope everyone will read this - it is in a simple way why ZEN is going to be really huge one day.
