This year’s SIBOS conference is scheduled for October 16-19 in Toronto, Canada. Since SIBOS is promoted by Swift, a direct competitor of Ripple. Swift will not provide exposure for Ripple so Ripple set up their own summit during the same time period in the same city. Way to go, you have everyone gathered there already so this is a great way to get additional participation and recognition.
This new summit is called SWELL. It was rolled out during a conference 8/21-8/24/17. If you go back and look at the charts of what happened to Ripple's price during this time you will see a significant jump. Could this happen again in October. I am betting it will.
