Can someone help me understand a few things? First off, does Steemit assign you a bitcoin wallet or can you use your own? Also, I had 15 Steem Dollars and I converted them to Steem about 12 days ago and the Steem Dollars were removed but I never received the Steem for them. There's also no history of the transaction... what gives with this site? I see nothing but puff-piece articles written about it but no one can help me with the confusing parts of this site and what seems like the major flaws. Help?

Steem is not Bitcoin, it is two different cryptocurrencies and two different blockchains altogether. The Steem dollars that you are earning show up in your Wallet at the top of your account page here: https://steemit.com/@splatterhaus/transfers

What I'm saying is that I had Steem Dollars and I converted them to Steem. But my Steem does not show that I have anything... it said it converted Steem Dollars to Steem but it says I have $0.00 Steem.
This was like 12 days ago so it should of showed up by now....
