OK, so here is the REAL news that I wanted to share this week, it's kinda big, makes me a little tipsy just thinking about it actually.
Rodrigo Crespo (our CMO) just scored the largest account yet. Beer Gardens (Biergartens) in Germany are where everyone goes to hang out. Rodrigo has demonstrated the BlockPay systems to them and they're on board! The breweries also own a lot of restaurant chains, grocery stores, etc.

that's a really good idea! we could reserve a table at the Hofbrauhaus tent (or one of them anyway) and have one of the expert bloggers there to cover the story, or maybe even one of the CoinTelegraph or Bitcoin.com Journalists. I love octoberfest! Couple year's ago i was there. The atmosphere was fantastic, One day I would come back, and patry hard again with lovely people's.
And this guy project is unique but i cant believe in 6MLN people. Couple days ago we had ŚDM in Poland(+1mln people). I should go there and show people what is bitcoin and steemit.

EPIC. This is the kind of thing that is needed for crypto to really take off! If people find it difficult to spend their cryptocurrencies, then they will be less likely to believe it has "real" value. If everybody realizes "hey, I can actually pay my bills with this stuff (and its easier)" then why wouldn't they get themselves some crypto! Thank you for this!

I can't pick just one. I like Smartcoins of course cuz they're not volatile, but I have long used bitcoin and dash too for different things. I'm no trader or expert on investing though, so you just have to play with them and see which ones you like best. I'd love it if you tried out our "Smartcoins Wallet" on google play or aptoide though :)

yep, we should have the translation fixes all imported by tomorrow. Like Rodrigo mentioned in the video above, it will take us a couple weeks to get them up to speed on how it all works, but so far so good. The breweries here in germany are huge and they come with a lot of connections too. We are actually paying for a lot of the hardware ourselves right now (refurb tablets and smartphones) until we get more traction, so every Upvote helps :)

What are you thoughts on the reverse option such as www.plutus.it ?
Plutus doesn't need any further equipment other than an app that the user has on his/her mobile device. It simply transfers your BTC or ETH to plutons and then in to fiat currency anywhere in the world by NFC card readers, all instantaneously.
Would this be easier from a customers POV as it requires no merchants to "get on board"?

NFC is cool, but I think it limits your purchases to under 50 bucks or something like that. The BlockPay "S" app, and BlockPay Integrated support every major cryptocurrency (BTC, Steem, Dash, bitUSD, bitEUR, bitCNY, Doge, LTC, etc) and is not limited by transaction sizes.. buying a cart full of groceries, a new car, tank full of gas, or dinner for two for example.
Block times are 3 seconds or less and the Graphene blockchain itself has already proven over 100,000 transactions per second which is more than visa and mc combined.

Merchants can issue Loyalty Points and eReceipts with every transaction if they like, and cash out to their fiat currency of choice.
Now that we are integrating BlockPay via OEM and in retail/grocery/restaurant/vending/petrol chains, this enables any merchant (NFC or QR codes) to accept one or more cryptocurrencies at zero cost. Our mobile apps and ERP modules are all in 44 languages too, so it has made rollouts worldwide very simple.
We also do not require the customer/user to have a special cryptocurrency wallet installed since BlockPay supports them all. Just use Mycelium, or Jaxx, or Dash Wallet or whatever wallet you like best at any BlockPay merchant.
BlockPay also runs on top of the Bitshares Dex, so you never have to worry about an exchange getting hacked or someone stealing your keys. Bitshares users get to keep their keys. For a merchant to come online with BlockPay, all they have to do is import the free module for their point of sale system.

Great question. I am hoping that the waitresses will enjoy BlockPay since they can serve more customers much faster. Having to make change is a pain in the ass. I even found these cool temporary tattoo/stickers that they could wear to get extra tips..
Once people see the convenience of paying with a QR code, going back to the ATM machine just seems dumb.
Yeah those waitresses will have to choose a different location for their QR Codes. I don't think their Dresses will show their backs.
