Hi creationlayer,
thank you for your interest in BlockPay. We are building a range of products, focusing on mobile payments and point of sales solution based on Blockchain technologies. Our main products today are BlockPay, Echo, Stealth and the Smartcoins Wallet. The BlockPay token does not represent a share in the company, however, we will allocate a part of our net profits to our BlockPay token holders. The funds are distributed according to the stake. Please also make sure that you keep your BlockPay tokens under your own full control and don´t store them at a centralized exchange . We don´t know if a centralized exchange would pay the profits forward.
Another great way to profit is our global Ambassador Program. We pay up to 15% in sales commission to our top Ambassadors. When you sign up a store, you earn a direct cut off each BlockPay transaction (0.5%*15%) from that store. Please contact us at Ambassador@BlockPay.ch or visit our website www.BlockPay.ch for more information.
I think a bit more clarity on the exact proportion of profits and the function of the tokens would be useful. I couldn't seem to find this information on the website. As it stands this round seems to be around a $16.8m valuation.
Is there any way to crunch the numbers to come up with with a few investment metrics?
Thanks :)
what portion of net profits do you expect to be distributed, for holders of the token, or do you have a process of assessing what amounts will be distributed, how often?
The ambassador program looks great.
Hi creationlayer,
I am working on the best possible solution for everybody. We also have to consider our monthly server bills, costs, taxes, etc. I currently calculate with a quarterly payout to BlockPay token holders. The interval will be shorter over time with a growing cash flow.
To answer creationlayer and wingz questions. A concrete % of the net profits is not defined yet. However, analyzing MyCeliums offer I noticed that a distribution of 5% to the early McCelium investors (2168 BTC collected) leaves the investors with just a few pennies. 5% of the net profit is not much, and then distributed according to investment stake leaves most investors with a pretty small cut. I want to make it better with BlockPay and offer more. I concrete number will be published soon too. Thanks for your patience.

I'm not trying to be antagonistic, Mycellium was clearly a bad investment for any investors involved, which is why I didn't take part.
I don't think comparing BlockPay to Mycellium and saying it will be better than that really has any merit.
Hey guys... 'it will be better than a terrible investment, but we're not actually going to tell you what you're investing in or what the tokens actually mean in terms of net profit share'....
Can you see where I'm coming from?
