This is a tough one. I’ve been in work situations where I was under strict deadline and absolutely had to stay focussed. Sometimes I had to retreat to a separate office with a closed door and a Please Do Not Disturb sign on it. Some work can be interrupted and some can’t. It all depends on the job. Respect, cooperation and understanding can go a long way in the office.
