Arghhhh. This should have been a "no payout" post. Deep apologies, especially to the wonderful people who have put their faith in my work by autovoting me.
You are aware that when you decline payout, people voting for you still lose voting power, right? So when you decline payouts, you're not getting anything, and they aren't even getting any curation rewards for the VP they spent.
So for the auto voters, it's even worse if you decline payout.
Huh. I did NOT realize this! Just did a quick search and read and found out that at least then it gets redistributed to the rewards pool. And now I'm not sure which is better, but you DO have a point about declining being worse for voters.
Thanks for letting me know. This makes me feel a bit better, though this still seems super greedy on my part.
You post a lot. People like @techslut know this, which is why she (I assume) only auto-votes you at 40%. Which is the same as saying that 40% of your post deserve 100% votes.
I personally choose to manually vote for you when I like what you post.
to be clear, I don't think there is anything wrong with the amount you post. I like it even. I just don't feel like voting on all of it.
