RE: [Criterion] : Strive to always move forward

in #criterion6 years ago

This was an interesting first episode and I will be looking forward to the next Criterion episode. I thought it was well-presented and I had no troubles comprehending, until I got down to turning fear into your tailwind.

I had to read it again. Fears are a natural instinct and they do provide a certian usefulness, especially when they occur in the present moment. However, in the anticipatory fears, we tend to hold back. Fears, I suppose, would be mainly related to changes and the unknown. Noticing that the best things also come out without knowing the result beforehand and they come with change, therefore, it does make sense that we should be motivated to do the things we fear. I still have my reserves about this notion. One man's truth may not be mine. Maybe I will come around and be able to understand this concept more fully eventually.

Well, turning fear into drive is a lot like using the cortisol from stress to take action. Rather than procrastinating and slowing down, it's wise to flip the script and use that chemical injection for good and strides forward.

Everyone is different for sure, it's just how you perceive doubts and fear. Fear can be one end of the spectrum or the other :)
