Wade’s century only adds to the pressure but I think given that Australia lead from the off in this series and retained the Ashes with a game to spare then Paine was never likely to be under big pressure. At this point there aren’t many alternatives to captain the side and i think Langer and the selectors will favour stability over making any big changes
