Archer didn't take one wicket in Australia's first innings. So much for being the spearhead of the attack.
There is still hope for England in the Ashes series, but it is slowly slipping away. Yesterday evening England started to collapse and the end could come very quickly. We all know one wicket can bring two or three and with England just on 300 runs behind it looks impossible. Just ask New Zealand after yesterdays result where Malinga took 4 wickets in 4 balls.
England have to survive this Test match to take it into the 5th and last game to have any hope of getting their hands on the Ashes urn. It is not impossible as we saw what happened in the last game. Yes a lot of luck is required and i honestly don't think it will happen.

It all counts for nothing if they can't draw this game. What a difference one week makes.
The problem England have today is the new ball is a few overs away and the Australians smell blood now. A few quick wickets and I am sure Australia will make England follow on again. Most teams lately don't take this route as everyone fears the last day batting on a deteriorating wicket. This wicket is still perfectly fine as over a day has been wasted already due to rain.
I expect Australia to wrap it up today or early tomorrow morning as England are just about done. There is very little fight left and the English are just not good enough. They have been outplayed in every match so far and if everyone is honest with themselves they would agree England were extremely lucky to win the last one.
The Australian bowlers are a class above what England has to offer and it is not just Steve Smith who has made the difference. England have relied on one or two players and they can't carry the team. The majority have under performed and they don't look like they are a special team. They had hopes on Jofra Archer making a difference and he did for one day, but he is lacking something. I think it is more to do with the bowler than anything else.
I don't expect to be watching any cricket tomorrow as it should be done and dusted by this evening. I expect the English press to turn on the team again as that is what they do. They look to lay the blame on someone and as fast as they build them up they tear them down twice as fast. That is the English way and it will never change.

Man i have tried to get involved in cricket but well, I'm American, so it doesn't really appeal to me. I do however enjoy beer and my English friends are watching this intently (while drinking beer) so I get involved as much as possible.

I don't think Aussie will commit the same mistake as the last match. Of course, it was exceptional pull by English team last game. But now Aussie just needs 8 wickets to clinch it. Let's see how it unfolds. England can maximum make a draw.

Look at the figure of no. 8 & 9 batsman. I hope they will be able to lead to a draw.
Both are glued to the wicket and don't seem like giving up.
Australia deserve it so I hope they break through. Only one to go so they should do it, but one never knows.
Yes finally Hazlewood did it for Australia and I think Aussie after the last test made good come back and played absolutely brilliant cricket.
