ive been to crete 2 times, but i dont think ive visited purgou village, i have been to a place called pirgos i think :) i love crete. doesnt pirgos mean something like a small house?
ah i see, we went by bus and i think we turned into Heraklion from south an then back out into west, i think pirgos was a small restaurant close to our hotel, in platanias.

Dear Vinshero, Pirgos is another place. Purgou is a village near of Heraklion. Pirgos meaning in greek means tower.
