Yay! It’s the weekend!!! So that can really only mean ONE THING!!
It’s time for the #weekendfreewrite!
Each week @mariannewest gives three #freewrite prompts and you have to write for five minutes using each prompt - but no cheating and looking at the next prompt UNTIL you have finished with the first one!

"I envy that velvet lining, with its blood-coloured fur and its need little zipper," Kracks whispered in my ear.
"You do know that the fur is white," I said, reading the label. "It is blood-coloured because it is covered in actual blood."
Kracks smiled, her moist lips almost as red as the fur she was examining. "That's why I like it," she said.
We were in the Unusual Gifts Shop. Kracks wanted to get something for her new girlfriend - "something deliciously horrible" she had said when she unexpectidly turned up at my house - and I had agreed to come along.
I examined the strange thing. I guessed it was a wallet of some kind. Made to look like a baby seal that had been clubbed to death, all flat, bloody and heartbreakingly beautiful at the same time. With a zipper in it.
"Do you think she'd like it?" Kracks asked.

"How the hell would I know?" I say, hoping my voice sounds bored. But I was too curious to continue the game. I stopped and asked, "how did you guys meet anyway?"
Kracks smiled her smile that always made me want to fold up like a piece of paper.
"How does one of the Twisted meet another Twisted?" she said, moving away from the clubbed seal wallet and picking up what looked like a human finger. She fiddled with it and a flame sprung from the tip. It was a lighter. "I found her in the park," Kracks continued, putting the lighter down and scanning the shelf for other interesting artifacts. "She was being beaten up by a pack of seagulls. They wanted her cheese pasty."
I blinked at Kracks. "Seagulls?" I asked. "We're landlocked. Where the hell is the nearest ocean to here? What are seagulls doing here?"
Kracks shrugged. "Maybe they are on holiday," she said. "Ah!" she sprung away from me, dancing up the aisle with as much grace as a headless chicken.

Kracks reached up and grabbed hold of something with her fingertips. For a moment I thought the whole shelf was going to come down on top of us, and I prepared to leap out of the way. Or at least run as fast as I could out of the shop. But somehow Kracks managed to pull what she wanted off the shelf without breaking anything.
"There you go!" I looked at what she had. It looked like a stuffed parrot. Only in place of its head, it had a human hand. "A seagull! She'll love it! Don't you think?"
I shrugged. I didn't bother telling her it was a parrot. To Kracks details are unnecessary.
There was a banging noise. A rap-rap-rap on the window. We both looked over. There was a rather strange-looking woman glaring at us through the window. Kracks waved.
"There she is!" she said. "Come and meet Igor!" She pushed the parrot thing into my hand, told me to "go pay for it, there's a love" and danced out of the shop, knocking a display of slug earings to the floor with a crash.
