I saw the spam and went to it curiously. I liked what I saw, and good on you for calling it out and bringing some of your attention to it. This is why I like the tag #craigrant. People involved with each other, communicating, buying, selling, and growing :)

interestingly, brian did not use the tag for his post about the Olympian, if he did then he would not need to spam me and my friends in comments
Hey @craig-grant Thanks for doing this post. To clarify things the "craigrant" tag was used initially for the first 6 or 7 hours of the post. I was up all night promoting the post to try to get Cyrus a decent payout. I got talking to another Javelin thrower in the Steemit.chat chat room who was from Europe. (YEP small world) He was helping me promote it and recommended switching up the tags to try to get exposure in a couple different categories. So two of the tags changed from what they initially were.
Sorry for spamming you but I was really trying to get this post to have escape velocity to get Cyrus some money. Despite being a 2 Time Olympian he only made $3,000 last year from track and field and is on food stamps. I was hoping the Steemit whales could have grabbed this and pushed it up over the $10K or 15K mark. It would have been a great media story as well for Steemit.
you are on the right track, keep steeming, never stop
