There be somethin' strange with those Carter folk, arrr. There is such an Uncanny Valley with Carter's wife, she doesn't look real at all. I'm reminded of the work of Ruben Orozco Loza or Ron Mueck. I saw a little old man and woman statue in a Texas gallery that Mueck did, it looked freakishly real even in person.
