It is very unfortunate that we have enough money to buy sophisticated weapons but do not have enough money to make vaccine. I still wonder when people talk about wars even in this global crisis.
Let's hope that countries give up on militaristic jingoism and start spending on vaccine to fight COVID 19.
And by money I will assume you are referring to government issued fiat debt noted. There is always enough of them to do basically anything a government wants.
When you understand how "money" as you call it is created you will have better knolage to see what is happening.
So for a moment let's assume governments could create fiat currency to do what you want, but dont what is it they truly want. Could it be they want you to want to be vaccinated?
There a painful difference between education and knowledge.
Those with education historically suffer while those with knowledge navigate the future with certainty.

In Keynesian Economics, the purpose of government is to save in times of economic booms and spend supporting people in recession or crisis. I refer to political will and sincerity of corporations in this crisis. I do agree with last statement that knowledge is power.Similarly , I do agree that only Education is not enough but the fundamental question is that billions of dollars provided to private enterprises and other financial corporations and when it comes to crisis , people are dying and suffering but so far it shows no signs of abatement. And it seems we can only protect world by manufacturing weapons to neutralise national threats but we could not vaccinate people and COVID 19 is looming large over on the horizon.
The two are important in all facets of life. I think we all need to take bold steps to make life advance in medicine. We have to sacrifice for it
