We are prepared for Coronavirus, says the government...
We are doing everything that we can to prevent an outbreak in SA, says the Health Department...
These are LIES, told by the South African Government to keep peace in a country who, in actual fact, needs to PANIC.
So, should South African Panic?
Well yes, I am, my family is, my friends are. Does that answer your question?
First of all, I personally think SA has had the virus many moons ago. Think about it, when the outbreak first showed an eye, and Wuhan called a lock-down, millions of people fled from China. With South Africa intertwined with them, what are the chances of us, as SA, NOT having even one person who was exposed to the virus? More importantly, where are those millions of people now?
Let's get back to the subject. Why should we worry?
Well, here is the article about Bill Gates, stating that this virus could (I think will) hit African countries even harder than China. Please, go read it...

Lack of infrastructure, lack of knowledge, and a population with a lack of funds and an abundance of HIV positive.
Here is another thing to think about. Any immune deficiency and your chances of surviving are low. Imagine what CoVid-19 will do to HIV.
Let see South Africa TRY to quarantine 57 million people, who are either ignorant to the disease, or like South Africans are known for, to simply break the rules, or not even listen in the first place.

It's nice to see you back, Megan!
This virus is scary and I hope you and your family aren't affected by it. But its always good to be aware of the risk and be prepared as best as we can. I'm taking more vitamin C and eating more veggies. Also stocking up a bit on food and water. Makes me feel a little better when I make a plan and try to do something to help my odds of getting through this! :)
Thank you Kenny, good to be back.
It is, and we are doing everything we can to stay safe. Good luck to you and your family
