Health Update 27

in #coronavirus4 years ago

Today the weather was clear.

I got outside a bit today because of it. I remain uninfected or at least asymptomatic, just as when I began this series. I had a much more physically active day today as well. I did sleep late though, which is something I really enjoy doing. I didn't eat anything much for breakfast, or really at all today. A little later my dog got a bath and I started cleaning up my room. After picking up the random bits of the floor, I set up the vacuum cleaner. While it still seems to work, it did very little to clean my floor of dog hair. I was determined though so started picking up hair by putting tape on the floor and pulling it up. It worked okay, but it was quite tedious. I didn't get much of my room done before I decided to do something outside.

I've been planning to mow my lawn, but thankfully the weather has been inappropriate for it. Today it was sunny and cool though, and even though I despise lawn mowing I can't afford a fine so I got to it. Or I tried to anyway. Once I cleared out the back yard of sticks and such I went to start the lawnmower and found that I couldn't get it to start. It's been quite a while since I used it last, so maybe it needs new gas or a fuel additive or something. I'll have to figure that out before long.

Anyway, I had an active day today. Even though I didn't do any dedicated exercise I did stay occupied. I did a little work in the garden today too. I do think my peas are sprouting, but no sign of carrots yet. I'm planning on starting up a compost pile soon.

I had a psychically stable day as well. Not much happened to perturb me, but nothing exciting either. I found a new phone game I'm really enjoying. It's a simple evolution simulator, but I always find those fascinating. I didn't really do terribly much recreation today however. I didn't do much on Hive either, which I suppose is somewhat like recreation. No coding work today either, but I might get some in before bed.

Overall it was a day of old-fashioned physical labor in quarantine.
