Hello, dear friends, steemians!
On my last visit to Place of Blessing "El Buey" near the town of Upata, my mother taught me and made the delicious typical of Pumpkin that we call Auyama cake when we go to the field It is our dessert, accompany me and let's see how she made it:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked pumpkin
- 2 cups of rising wheat flour.
- 2 cups of sugar.
- 1/2 cup of oil.
- 4 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder.
Cooking
Make a puree with the Auyama cooked.
Sift the flour along with the baking powder (you can also use clove and cinnamon). In a bowl, mix the eggs with the sugar, add oil and beat.
Add the liquefied pumpkin and continue beating. Add the flour little by little until obtaining the homogeneous consistency.
Pour into a greased and floured mold and bake for 40 min. or until a toothpick is inserted in it and it comes out clean.
I hope you can make it at home, the truth is that it is very delicious to eat at home, take advantage of the next season of Auyamas or Pumpkins.
