A start to my book combining cooking with Tarot; would you buy it?

As a young person I was inspired to cook and to create. My mother often called me a mad scientist because I would constantly formulate new concoctions in the kitchen, usually creating more mess than she could bear to take in her clean kitchen. It wasn’t until later in life that I found my ability to read the Tarot. I was told by another psychic that I had the ability to divine the future but getting there was a battle. I bought a few books and cards and poured my attention into learning all I could about reading tarot, indeed there are a lot of books on the market telling you how to read tarot. The thing that I found in my studies is every writer had a different opinion on what each card meant and what method to use when reading the cards.

Tarot reading, and cooking are very similar both require time, dedication, meditation and a final product that is savored. This book will allow you to use your intuition and the tarot to create a product that you can sink your teeth into and learn the tarot in the process.
 
Wands: Appetizers

The suit of wands all deal with action and power, ambitions enterprise and domineering hyper-competitive. The suit is of the element fire, of the season spring and in the direction of East. This lends itself to be a great analogy to the appetizer. The sun rises in the east and begins our day, so to do our meals. Spring is associated with new beginnings and awakenings just like an appetizer it begins and awakens your palate for the rest to come. So, when you think of the suit of wands think of appetizers they are active, ambitious, and when you serve them to your guests they should shout of the ambition that you have placed into the meal to come.
 
Ace of Wands Crudité Dip

When I look at the typical Rider Waite Ace of wands I see a large budding branch, held by the “Hand of God” coming out of a small cloud that is quaking to the point that the leaves are falling off. So, a crudité is the perfect appetizer to help you relate. Crudité is basically any sort of raw vegetable that you dip into and depending on your hunger level your hands may very well be quaking.
Card meaning: First off, all cards in the minor Archana (aka pips) signify fresh starts, new beginnings and amplify the cards that are found in the reading. The ace of wands is a very “Aries” energy card. It should shout “HEY LET’S GET GOING” If you know anything about astrology, the zodiac sign Aries is a fire sign and relates to power and action or “Something from nothing” Before Aries nothing exists, it is the active manifestation of energy. Look at the card can you not just envision someone holding a stick and screaming “Hey, LETS GET GOING OR IM GONNA BEAT YOU WITH THIS CLUB” and saying it with such force that they are shaking the leaves that have just formed on the branch. The card is active, explosive and pushy and should scream “HEY, LETS MOVE”. It signifies new starts, new risks, and new endeavors. When this card is in reversed it still is a very high energy card, but you should expect conflicts, disagreements, discord and total mayhem with active energy behind it. Be ready to be chased, ran out of town forcing you to adapt, or leave as necessary.
Recipe:
The vegetable will represent the club, held by your hand, and the cloud is the dip.
Ingredients:
You can choose any variety of vegetables that are easily held in the palm of your hand.
1 – 8 oz package of cream cheese
¼ cup of beef stock.
½ Teaspoon of garlic powder
Salt to taste.
1 small white onion diced finely
Combine the cream cheese, bouillon solution, and garlic powder into a bowl and mix using that active Aries energy, until the mixture is completely smooth. Then stir in the finely diced onion. Serve with a variety of raw vegetables that can be easily held in the hand. (Small peeled carrots, broccoli, zucchini and squash would work marvelously)
