And pictures....you never have too many pictures!!
In the USA, cats are the #1 pet choice. Unfortunately, they are also one of the most marginalized species when it comes to neglect, abandonment, and abuse. So this post and contest is specifically for them!!

This contest, again, is for cats and pictures of cats only.
This contest will run for 7 days. At the end of 7 days, no more entries will be accepted.
There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. First place will receive SBD, amount depends on how much this post earns! Second place will receive an upvote on blog entry of their choice. Third place will have a post of their choice resteemed.

I love it when they do this!!! Nikko is completely infatuated with water!! I had another kitty, Sterling, who lived water too!! He would play with it- a slow stream running in the sink! But he didn't like getting wet! Only his paws n such and if it was his idea!!

How many do you have in total? I used to have more then two but my health issues made me have to find new homes for the others
Currently, I don't have any living with us - though some belonging to us remain with a family friend two states away.
We also had to move internationally and it seemed best to rehome them. :-(
I know where Cleopatra is, but that's it. Helith disappeared in 2012 about the same time as his semi-feral brother - there were rumors in the area that ginger cats were being targeted deliberately.
At one point, we had six adult cats and some kittens around - the kittens were always in very high demand in the UK - in part due to the charities being too fussy about the new homes for their precious kitties. (People were being rejected for having children, or being in rental accommodation.)
Oh she is lovely!! Looks like she has some Siamese in her!😊
I'm not aware of her ancestry before we had her.

He crawls into my hair. He tries to climb in the middle of it. It goes further than grooming. I will try to get some video of it sometime so you can see what I mean
Lol. That does sound like a hair fettish!! Apparently your hair is a comfort to him! Cats in shelters that are scared and insecure, will climb into their litter boxes to surround themselves with their own smell. Sounds like he's doing that with your hair! You apparently are much loved and a valued member of what is his clowder

Her name is Cookie! I found her in Croatia near by the beach in bushes. She was all by herself, crying and very exhausted. We took her home with us and soon she will be 1 year old 🐱 she was a great help and distraction when I was writing essays 😄😋

He's a pest. Always in to everything, will attack your leg from behind and hold on, biting at your ankle. He thinks he's a tiger. He has no fear, only killer instincts to take down the wild beast who is his owner. How could you not love such a thing?
