Thank you for the feedback, @Porters. Without a doubt, plants are affected by the humans around them, then again, so are we humans. Our moods and experiences change based on who and what is around us, same as plants. This is actually one of the pieces of evidence supporting plant sentience. If they were not aware of their environment--the base definition of consciousness--then they would not be affected by the environment around them. :)
