Yaaaaay!
A very big congratulations to me as i hit the big 50. This means a lot to me because as at this time last month, i was really struggling with enjoying the community and also frustrated at the same time. I'm super proud of my self and this achievement as it is a drill to move forward and upwards. It is said that the reward for work is more work and this level means there's more to do, there's a need to work harder so that you can pull newbies up as they really look up to you.
I'll be starting this level with a contest and a giveaway. I've been a beneficiary of several contests and giveaways and i feel it's time for me to make it happen to someone out there. This is the first ever contest I'm organizing and I'm seeing its success already.

My Experience.
I have been hearing about steemit for some time now, whenever @samstickkz comes to Facebook he'll always post about steemit and I thought it wasn't because it sounded too good to be true. After a while I saw other te-steem-onies and I was like "mehn this is real" I registered just because of the money but I found it difficult to navigate my way around steemit because it is not like the other social networks.
I got to meet some amazing folks like @ifioklee and other who helped me. These guys have so encouraged me, they're like family to me. I came here for the money but meeting some of these wonderful guys has made it worthwhile. My aim is to meet every member of this wonderful community, I came for the money but I'm still here for you guys.

This slogan "come for the money, stay for the community " is actually manifested in me.
When I initially joined steemit, I was all about the money, I never visited other people's blogs, I never followed any steemian, but that was because I never know how things worked here on steemit. But gradually, I came to realize that steemit had nothing to offer without the community. To get the money here we actually need the people upvoting, reposting and all that. And also there are a lot of informations we get from the steemit community. So in other words we need the money, just like we need the community not just that, we need to be a part of the community, helping build newbies and giving them helping hands when ever they need help.
In summary this come for the money and stay for the community thingy is basically about you and I, because we are the community and if we don't develope the community and just get the little money, who will?

Sometimes I get the feeling that I do have superpowers, or at least am psyche, lol..... Maybe not. Well yesterday I met with @rebeccafl on some sort of date,(@rebeccafl introduced me to steemit), and I was telling her how most people on steemit were just in for the money, but as they would discover, steemit is beyound the money making aspect, its a community that hopes to build a person in terms of getting better with their works, since you know your contents will earn you money, you would put your heart to giving your best.
Now thus wonderful topic comes along, well in all honesty, I also came for the money, as the case is for most newbies like myself, but in my few days here, actually twelve days now, have discovered that its not just about the money, its the relationship you are able to build with fellow steemians, its about the knowledge you acquire from reading posts or contents made by others, its about the hard work you put into a post, all these is what the community of steemit is made up.
A platform where writers can interact and help sharpen each other, the money is just an addition. When we finally realise this, it dawn on us, that truly "we came for the money, but we stayed for the community"
In my own opinion the slogan COME FOR THE MONEY STAY FOR THE COMMUNITY is insinuating that although we are all aware of the fact that most of the users here are with the sole aim of making money but when you enter the community you realize it takes patience,consistency,brain and most importantly time so at the end of the day although WE CAME FOR THE MONEY BUT WE STAYED FOR THE COMMUNITY.
I was introduced to steemit truly because of the money . Steemit to me is still a platform for getting immediate money from your own use of knowledge but still if all it did entail was only the money, steemit would have become a platform of the desperate. After my first week on steemit i realised steemit is not even a platform with a first priority of the money. The knowledge, ideals and connection in the platform is what make it steem it. It was after that i understood the slogan "come for the money, stay for the community"

lol,i soo feel like this contest was made in my honour,i rilli did come for the money,buh found something bigger instead.when i heard about steemit,i couldnt wait to sign up,i mean who doesnt like the idea of making money just by posts.So i signed up,made my introductory posts,expecting a million bucks,stupid of me,it diddnt show up.Not even #1,anger grew,so did frustration.I abandoned my account.Buh now i realise that this is more than making money,cash is just a bonus,Its a community of people all around the world,initiating change through crypto currency,and am happy to be a part of this great community.

The slogan COME FOR THE MONEY STAY FOR THE COMMUNITY. We all know that majority of the new members of steemit are coming for the financial benefits not knowing the fact that the platform is not a ponzi scheme where you just put a particular amount of money and get multiple amount back without doing anything . The most important thing you need in this platform to be successful is consistency. You realize that when you come in for the money alone, you can not be successful at all unless you stand to stay for the community as well.

you have a phone and some data, you should join Steemit and make some cash- his friend said.
So he joined Steemit just to pay some bills
With the introductory post he made a lot but thereafter rage and frustration came and then self doubt for his post were not making much again. Okon wanted to quit but he also knew he's a good writer and has valuable information though the pay was not coming again.
anyway, he decided that since his articles were very informative, he will keep writing for the sake of the members who were learning from his post. He will add value to the knowledge base of the community and if the reward comes, it will be a bonus
That's my opinion in my own special story about the slogan: COME FOR THE MONEY, STAY FOR THE COMMUNITY.
Steemit is a site of betterment just as proposed. It came to been just like a blog act of getting money. I was invited based on the money received from it . But then when i started it was mainly because of the money but getting to know the floor i found interest in the community. Going with the slogan "came for the money stay for the community" i saw ever so brothers i did loss them contact on this platform. These could even create a chance for international business opportunities.
The slogan COME FOR THE MONEY STAY FOR THE COMMUNITY, in my opinion it depicts the true reason why one would want to participate in such both wonderful and stressful and activity. I believe this slogan to be the truth based on the fact that the money is what motivated me to enrol as a steemian, but after i got the hang of the whole steem community and met many people i got addicted to the community.

I made my first money from my introductory post and in subsequent posts I realized that I couldn't do it without upvotes from people. We live in a country where the bridge between the government and the people is broken so what better way to make things better than help each other become better?. No one can make it in life without receiving help from someone else, steemit has been a bridge connecting people all over the world. At a point you realize it's not about the money, it's about the contacts and the community.Money comes and goes but friends stay even in the bad times!
Personally I can relate to the slogan "come for the money, stay for the community ". A Friend told me i could get paid for blogging, so i decided to try it out, but after been on the platform, I have connected with a lot of people and i must say it's been uplifting. So now I'm staying on the platform for my people and in it for the long run

Being here on steemit, is for the first four words " COME FOR THE MONEY " which is the aim of most steemians(even for someone like me). I remembered when i was first introduced to steemit , i was really excited , until after my first post that i got a low payout , i was discouraged , as time goes on i got used to steemit and i really love it in this community the writing , the reading nd the contest , SO TELL ME , WHATS BETTER TO DESCRIBE ""COME FOR THE MONEY , STAY FOR THE COMMUNITY""? Most people who join Steemit are drawn here for immediate financial benefits. However, Steemit requires a conscious dilligent effort sprinkled with a compulsory buffet of consistency and more than usual dedication. These attributes are rare at this time and age and for this reason thousands of people who rush into Steemit twerk out of it as fast as they twerked in.
A newbie is drawn by the money but should be determined to "stay for the community" no matter how the financial aspect of Steemit turns out. This way, the huge burden of anger and disappointment will be lifted off his shoulders and with time, he will see the financial rewards pouring in naturally and without stress.
My opinion on the slogan "come for the money and stay for the community " is very simple, I see the slogan as portraying dual sense, first of all its an advertisement strategy using money basically as its strong incentive, the second portrays system thinking : as one man you fall but as a family you trive(succeed). Thus success on the platform is through communial growth and money a driving force(dCa/dz).

The slogan "Come for the money, stay for the community" as it relates to me, when ah was told about steemit by my brother,ah imagined it as just a money making venture and ah joined with the sole of making some dollars,but joining the steemian community, I've learnt patience,consistency,content development. It's no longer about earning some dollars,its about meeting a whole family of resourceful people and most importantly i've had to really develop my self to add value to this community. No matter how small,I'm learning and building my self to be content-filled.
From my own understanding of the popular steemit slogan "COME FOR THE MONEY STAY FOR THE COMMUNITY".At first when my friends were talking about steemit all i thought about was the money they made from it weekly from just sales of the sbd and then i asked them to help me signup on the website .Then my account was approved and i started writing articles n i was posting it but it was not easy to get enough upvote and then it dawned on me dat i had to be patient and stay for the community and it was not always about the money.

MY ENTRY
"Hey guy! Have you heard of this platform that pays for the contents you post? Join steemit" this is often the statement that builds people's interest to join this community. That is "Coming for The money" But the initial experience isn't always as expected. $0.01 pay accrued of a post weighs down the spirit. However the thought If others are making it, then I can. This desire pushes one to learn how best to utilize the community, connect with others, cultivate the needed virtues to succeed here. Then suddenly $1.02 accrued payout of a post. What a huge motivating to "STAY FOR THE COMMUNITY". if i could get $1.02, one day It could reach $999.02 per post. This mean stay here if you want to get there!

First: Come for the money
Humans are rational beings which seeks benefit or value from what he/she ventures into. The value might be knowledge, wealth, pleasure. There is no human that will venture into something without direct or indirect benefit. Majority of individuals joined Steemit because of the appreciating money value it offers. That is to say they came for the money. If not for the money many users of Steemit who has Facebook account would have preferred to still use it than joining steemit.
Second: Stay for the community
This segment of the slogan denote adding value to the community and enabling the community to grow for which individuals involved, gets rewarded.
"Come for the money and stay for the community".....
Steemit to alot of people us an eye opener to the limitless opportunities online expecially to newbie, so on finding steemit and knowing you dnt have to invest any money to earn from it...already has a " first sight" attraction to it....
But when you come in and see how reputation works, how the community interact with comments and chats...
You automatically fall in love and stay with the community...

I joined steemit officially on Saturday after my account was verified and I was super excited because I was thinking of the money I would be making as @datibomchic showed me her progress but then after my introductory post and having the likes of @pangoli @samstickkz @tubcat @monkeyddragneel @annieben @idma @eddy2cul @yanga @bco amongst others welcoming me with so much enthusiasm.. I knew I would enjoy my stay... I came for the money but the community makes earnings worth it.

A slogan is said to be a memorable phrase that is being used in a political, commercial, religious, and other areas as a continuous expression of a contribution or for a purpose, with the aim of persuading members of platforms or target group of users.
The slogan ''COME FOR THE MONEY, STAY FOR THE COMMUNITY''. We all know that most people come here purposely for the money and not for the community. But we all don't know that it is better to stay for the community first then later you will surely see the money. I discover that when you come for the money alone and not for the community, you won't be successful in the platform. You have to work for the community in order to be successful.
