The most unusual place I have ever been? I think it is the fantastic Słowiński Park Narodowy near the Polish city Łeba. Here you can find the biggest shifting sand dune in Europe. The dunes move slowly, at a speed of maximum 10 metres per year. Some dunes are quite high - up to 30 metres. The highest peak of the park – Rowokol is about 115 metres above sea level. If you go for a walk, it is like walking in the Sahara - but only in Northern Poland. A fantastic and really unusual place!
