Hi everyone! I am from upstate New York and one day hope to have a Homestead in the country.
My supernatural experience. When I was in college friends of my older cousin had moved back into the area and needed a babysitter for their two young children. It was fifty bucks for a few hours so I took it.
They had rented one of those old colonial houses. With a grand staircase from the front door, but a small and winding staircase from the kitchen to the second floor used by the servants back in the day.
I was sitting in the living room doing my homework when it sounded like someone was coming down the main staircase. Their cat was on the floor near the door and I saw him look as if he were following someone come down the staircase. I stood up and went to the doorway - no one was there.
Then I heard laughter and I thought it was the children I was babysitting. So I thought I would catch them by sneaking up the small staircase. I heard the laughter all the way to the top and then it stopped! When I checked on them, they were fast asleep!
I was in upstate New York last year and I absolutely loved it with all the rolling green hills and endless forest. Not at all what I imagined New York state to be like :)

Its hard to believe but NY is a giant state with lots of beautiful land. Problem is that yo cant do anything with your land if you own it there. The big city folk have stolen the rights of the country folk in NY state. Its is a shame.

My supernatural experience was that I was filled with the Holy Spirit in a Phil Driscol concert and spoke in an unknown tongue. It was a life changing experience. I never expected it, the people around me moved far away and I was alone in the middle of a giant auditorium near the stage. It was so powerful that many people told me that when I came back to my seat that I have a strong glow and an white aura around me. It scared many of the people. For me it was like I was just a witness of what happened and I had no control over my body. There is much more to the story but that is the short version.

I was 17 years old. Me and my friends loved horror movies and occult stories. We would go in supposedly haunted places, we would read things we should have not read. Then bad things started happening.
One night me and my friend came back to my house, after a 5 minute trip to the grocery store. All the windows were closed, nobody was there. My family was in vacation. As soon as we walked in, a supernatural voice growled at us. We then found bird guano on the ground, but no birds around.
After that day I started feeling followed. I would ride my motorcycle at night feeling that somebody was sitting behind me, seeing people crossing the road and lie on the ground, then disappear.
I couldn't sleep, i couldn't eat much. I thought somebody was watching me while i was sleeping. I thought I was completely going insane, so I left Rome (where i was living back then) and joined my family in their vacation home.
I was scared to talk to anybody about it, i remember the eyes of my now dead grandfather. Those sweet eyes behind those thick glasses, trying to understand what was going on with me. I sat there at the dinner table, bags under my eyes, barely eating and talking. I was scared to go to sleep. I was scared of the dark.
That night I went to bed and started listening to an album I perfectly knew. I was feeling weird again. I still have goosebumps now that i think about it.
I was toss and turning, the music was still playing and at some point the music started to morph and a music box started invading the air.
I remember feeling small, sweaty and scared. I thought i should have screamed but I froze as i started feeling somebody was stepping at the bottom of my bed and standing there, I couldn't see anything but I felt it was happening. I saw the sheets pushed down by some force my eyes couldn't understand.
Then it stopped. I don't recall falling asleep, but i recall what I did the day after.
My parents asked me what was wrong. I was scared to say anything to them. I thought I was crazy! Why wouldn't they think the same?
The sun was setting again, sunset was coming and darkness was once again about to come back to me.
I used to have a moleskine (a travel notebook) at that time where i would write my thoughts, my experiences and some silly poetry.
I thought I was gonna be a writer sometime in my life. I thought i was gonna commit suicide that very day.
I decided to climb on the roof of that house. The sun was about to go down.
I remember sitting there, watching the sun preparing to disappear behind those far mountains. I lighted a cigarette and started writing a little poem. I felt fragile, melting under that red sun and I cried a bit. I didn't want the sun to go down, I didn't want to go to sleep. I wish I had never started that, I wished I could close that door that somehow I had opened. I should have never awoke those spirits. I wrote all of that in that little poetry.
Somewhere in one of my moleskines, that poetry is still protecting me. I will never separate myself from that black notebook that sealed the door that I will never open again.

I had a chocolate cake in my fridge. I had a crazy dream where I ate it voraciously. This morning I wake up, only to find out that it was gone.
It was a once in a lifetime terrifying experience, and I believe supernatural :(

No idea if this count, but when I was visiting Auschwitz with my school class we were allowed to walk around by ourself. And near one of the gas chambers I could have sworn that I heard somebody crying. Only that it was almost dark and nobody was around.
Creepy. I went there myself once, and it was definitely one of the most horrible places I've ever been.
I remember when i was a child i woke up in the middle of the night and i saw a coffin floating beside me. Not sure if that was a dream or reality but after a week my grandpa died and he had the same coffin i saw beside my bed. Still creepy

Hi I'm new. When I was 21 years old while I was lying down one night, chatting on my cell phone, I felt someone watching me, when I looked at the foot of my bed, I saw a girl looking at me directly. I was paralyzed with fear. the image vanished in front of me. I did not know if it was chance, but a week later I found out I was pregnant.

I have experienced it while camping with my friends, many items lost themselves like kitchen materials. for the first time I thought it was an animal but the next night we decided to stay up, and what I saw floated and disappeared in the dark. although I am not sure of it but the morning is indeed the goods are completely disappeared.

While i was driving my bike , I thought i had hit somebody but when i saw back there was nobody .. i got afraid .
talking about supernatural events, when I was still in elementary school, I often walked in the house while sleeping, holding tightly a pillow, sometimes I fell asleep in the room, but after waking up I was in the guest room, my mom and dad often picked me up to my room back, but since my junior high school riding is already beginning to disappear, and now never happens again, I once asked my mother, but my mother replied "you walk because brought your dream"
haha really confusing to me at that time, and up to now also still confusing.
Sleepwalking. I once woke up in the shower without knowing how I got there...

hello, I'm new to the lottery, I'm from venezuela and my supernatural experience was, one day I was alone at home was about 16 years old and was helping with cleaning my mom, since we lived alone and she worked, they were like At about 10 o'clock in the morning, I was sweeping my room and listening to music at full volume, when I finished cleaning the room I went out to clean the room, and at the moment I'm cleaning it, I feel a cd falling from the room. I picked it up, I put it on the bed and I left the room once it was coming out I feel another cd fall and when I picked up a supernatural force I threw all the cds on top, I ran out of the place and did not enter until my mom arrived , after that they had to do a spiritual cleaning of the house, because there were goblins, which came out of the mouth of a devil's mask that I had on top of the window of my room. The strangest thing is that at night I dreamed I saw them! and it turned out that if they were real

No, I had no supernatural experience so far. But one time a was awake for such a long time that I hallucinated and saw some big black bats in the sky.
I'm in! I don't think I've ever had a supernatural experience. However, someone answered with something about being awake and not being able to wake up. That has happened to me lots of times, as well of having the dream of "waking up" exactly where I'm sleeping, but not being able to move, and finally waking up in the real world after several tries in the dream. I would count his more as tricks of the mind / weird dreams than supernatural experiences though.
I hate that feeling though, when you feel you're awake but you can't move. I always find it very frightening...
Never had one, I even spent the night in a supposed haunted house in an attempt to experience something but it was just a long boring night.

A supernatural experience.. before i was born my mom was in the woods with my dad and saw a black dog walking beside her. My dad didnt. Later in life we got a big, shaggy, black dog. I named him Frodo. He was my best friend for years. He died, but sometimes at night i swear i hear him breathing as if he's sleeping next to me. Here he is as a puppy looking like a bear cub

It happened when I was in my village. Often seen the line of people walking with torches up the hill, but if we approached he is getting away and so on. In our village they are called "bunian people".
