What is a Short Story.
A short story is a story with a fully developed theme but significantly shorter and less elaborate than a novel. It makes use of plot, resonance, and other dynamic components to a far greater degree than is typical of an anecdote. You can read it in less than 90 seconds.

Michelle dreamed of visiting wonderland as they called the city Heaven, a city where your dreams came true and everything was perfect.
Michel was a poor boy who lived in a dangerous neighborhood of the city where basic services such as electricity, water and security constantly failed, but despite all the difficulties his home was full of love and solidarity with his neighbor.
Michelle always listened to stories of his friends and in school, how wonderful it was to live in the city of Heaven, that the lucky people to go to live in that city were treated like kings.
One day at Michel's school they did a science contest and in prize was a two-week pass to live in the city Heaven. Won the contest.
When Michelle met the city Heaven was amazed by his technology and how beautiful it was, but soon she realized that the city was cold and inhuman, nobody cared about his neighbor, friendship and solidarity did not exist in that world. Michelle learned that "not everything that shines is gold."
Sailing in the sea I got lost and I had to keep sailing without a fixed course. Hours passed, days until finally I could see the earth. When I reached the island, I found a map with an area marked with a pencil. I had nothing else to do, so I followed the map until I found the marked place. When I arrive I see many branches of trees together that prevented me from walking and the view towards the unknown place. But I managed to see a hole in the ground that looked like a tunnel so I went in and kept walking, it was dark and when I see the light I realized that I had crossed the branches that did not let me cross and now I was facing a fence that said Welcome to Wonderland, there were some men smoking marijuana and they had a giant sowing of that same herb. It was a free place because it was wonderful.
"It's so lonely without Alice around," said the Mad Hatter spooning sugar into a small tea cup. He then poured tea into a saucer and drank it.
"What's this? Could it be a guest? Or a jest?" The Mad Hatter asked aloud as two cats walked the trail to his tea table.
"Welcome!" Announced the Mad Hatter.
"I'm Smokey Joe. Don't you know?" Said the black cat with orange eyes.
"I'm Jax and that's a fact," said the gray tabby cat with green snake eyes.
"Splendid! Time for tea?" Asked the Mad Hatter with excited eyebrows raised in anticipation.
"Yeah. I guess we could stay for a bit." Said Jax rather cool. And the cats each took a seat for tea.
The Mad Hatter made a big fuss serving them. He finally sat down again and watched them intensely.
The cats each took a sip. Then looked at each other for a moment without expression.
"Pretty good." Jax finally said.
"Thank you." The Mad Hatter replied feeling relieved.
Ana was a girl who dreamed of being a professional dancer to travel and know different parts of the world. He decided to study the career at the university to fulfill his dream.
Over time he has graduated. A work job was proposed and the test was done until finally the job he wanted so much was achieved. His adventure began in a country that lacked humility. He danced with a music group where they made fun of people. She wanted to change the course of things by giving her best example, "Respect".
One day he got himself with a mirror that showed him his past. She was a ruthless and cold young woman who did not respect the rules. There he understood that he should change that. Bullying is dangerous and threatens the integrity of people. He defended that belief and things changed. Then he was the leader of his dance group and had the applause of the people. Our adventure begins when we are able to change the course of things and fight for our dreams. We are architects of our destiny and the way we see the world. The great thing is to get where no one has come and learn to survive in this world full of opportunities.
Adventure in the country of wonders

Answered, just quiet you have to close your eyes and you'll have adventures back in your imagination, I closed my eyes and woke up where waterways found the magic rock.
It was once a beautiful and prosperous country, with beautiful landscapes, natural resources, gold, black gold (oil), its working citizens, with desire to excel, living in democracy and accustomed to receiving their full salary in cash.
Until twenty years ago, this country, let's call it "Little Venice", was considered the Wonderland ", but at the arrival of a man with leftist ideas, being a wolf disguised as a sheep, with a very populist double discourse, he attracted to many humble people, who saw him as a Messiah and obtained an overwhelming majority to win the Presidency of the Republic.
This was the beginning of the Adventures in Wonderland, where you do not live, you survive, where a minimum wage plus food bonus, is not even half of what a chicken costs,where food is scarce and expensive, you can not get all the medicines, they ration your electrical energy up to three times a day for several hours.
All this has led to the deterioration of the quality of life, living in this country is an adventure in Wonderland
Tommy and his parents went on vacation, while they were on the road, they put a very funny song on the radio, while they listened to it they were silent. Tommy was sitting in the back seat of the car, while listening to the song he looked out of the car window, one minute he saw a very high mountain and he saw that a dragon was flying over it then he saw that the dragon was approaching and tommy got out of the car and he could see that the dragon was big and beautiful, With his eyes he made tommy ride on his back and lifted him to the top of the mountain, when he was up there he looked around and saw that it was a wonderful world full of beautiful dragons and all different colors and shapes, some bigger than others and tommy very impressed. Suddenly I heard a voice from far away that said awake, but tommy just wanted to stay there with the beautiful dragons, he didn't want to go back, and again he was awake, awake, awake.... Tommy opened his eyes and saw that his mother called him and that he was in the car, he looked again at the window and the dragon was no longer flying, he sighed and said I want to see you again. See you soon friend .
Once a young boy went for mountain climbing , he came across a cave where its exit allowed for an even higher rockier mountain, being the adventurous type he embarked on the climb and when he finally set foot at the top its as if he entered into another world, clearly few minutes before the sky was bright , now it was dark with beautiful stars and five moons.
Mystified by the sight he continued his venture when he stumbled upon a sleeping silver dragon, stomping on its tail, awakened it in shock and spitting fire out of its mouth.
The boy ran in fright towards an angelic girl, who held him and spoke in a weird language, where the dragon turned tail and retreated.
Unable to communicate by words they accompanied via emotions, and he slowly fell in love with this world, where stars rained down and sprouted magical flowers, rivers of milk which bore fruits, and the heavenly creatures that was thought dead to earth.
But more important his companion which he wished to take as a life partner the love of his life and the beat of his heart. Adelphi psychÃ
Little Jack from California pondered on making his fantasies a reality. Sitting in a garden engrossed in admiration of a yellow lilly, made him lost in a world of his fantastical feelings where he desired to linger.
"Hi Jack"
"could you touch me?" -the flower said
Jack was engulfed in fear because of the flower uttering words to him. With his inquisitive naughty personality, he touched the flower.
Without warning, Jack with the flower appeared in a land filled with comely dragons, which he had as toys. His most favorite dragon toy which became real, flew him to the world of animals. Jack was overwhelmed in joy and surprises seeing dragon families showing so much hospitality to him.
He wandered round the land of dragons where the sun was on land, stars had wings, water was milk and dragons where the royal rulers over other animals.
What an adventure for little Jack but he had to go home because he doesn't belong there.
Jack sadly appeared back to the garden after touching the yellow flower again.
What a wonderland indeed!
Many have not come to think that we live deep within us in a ADVENTURE IN WONDERLAND, in our jobs, with our families and now in those who participate in steemet. Where people like me, Hispanics, Asians, Africans, Americans, and the rest of the world sit on a computer in our free moments to dream, to edit, to draw, to communicate with our ideas within these publications where We fly our imaginations to a world of fantasies, remembering when we were children and we had no limits to explore and devise what came to mind.
Where each of us create in day to day, involving ourselves and wanting to know new stories and occurrences in the ADVENTURE IN WONDERLAND that people daily show us so ingeniously and with the best disposition in each of their blogs or the competitions published, that make us laugh, cry or even get to move in all these stories to know this experiences.
Franklin was a child raised like the others, his mother was a teacher and his lawyer father was always well represented, his father wanted him to be a great man and lawyer like him, a strong man. Franklin started at school and while he was going through grade Franklin spoke in a strange way with strange gestures, his classmates called him the mannered one. He lived in a cheerful way he played with barbie and he would spend it alone with the girls since the children would bully him, this child lived his life in an imaginary way, he wanted to be the hairdresser of the school he would comb all the girls and when they played the Recreation bell organized beauty contests. She made up her classmates and dressed them, arranged them all in representation of her school in beauty competition. Franklin today is a great successful entrepreneur of a recognized clothing brand in his country. Franklin lived his longed for adventure in the wonderland and stayed to reap success despite all that he had to live to be accepted.

Being an adventurer led me to know that place. His name is very striking and that was a strong reason to go. Apparently I was destined to pass, since I arrived alone I was surrounded by blessings. First buy delicious meals and enjoy on the beach with a bright and hot sun. I remember seeing a very resplendent lady pass by, who left me in love at first sight. I called her and we chatted a bit then she gave me her phone number and we talked for a couple of weeks. I invited her to a solitary river that I wanted to know and accept. When I arrived at the place I asked her to marry me because I had fallen in love with her since the first day and did not want to spend another second without having her by my side. She blushed and said yes, and she is currently my thick and mother of my 3 children.
Amazing. Sometimes they seem to be things that are written and just happen. Fate and life are crazy.

THE TREASURE MAP
They were two little brothers and that day their mother told them that they had to clean the basement of the house, angry they went down to the basement and said it was very big and they would never finish cleaning it.
They began to clean and under many old things was a huge trunk closed with a padlock, they caught their attention and decided to open it, finding inside a map that marked a treasure.
The girl grabbed the map and the bottom of the trunk opened like a hatch.
The brothers decided to enter through the tunnel and at the end of the road they were on an island, it was like another world there were bright birds and butterflies, beautiful flowers that had never seen the sea was like glass, they were so amazed that their little brother He said let's look for that treasure that is there, I point to the map.
They toured the island until they found the treasure in the place indicated on the map, but they were so tired to return that they fell asleep. When they woke up they were in the basement and they saw the trunk with the padlock on it. And they said everything was a dream, but next to the trunk was the treasure. They said this is our secret.
"Wonderland?? Why do you always have to go to Wonderland?" Bert said in his whiniest voice. Mom and Dad, both cringed, they hate that whiny voice he makes when he doesn't want to go somewhere or do something.
"Bert, you know we go to Wonderland this time every year" Mom explained. "It's time for our adventure!" Dad chimed in.
"But why don't I ever get to go?" Bert cried. Mom and Dad just looked at each other. "We're here! Now, you be a good boy for grandma"
Dad handed Bert's food and leash to the older women, ran towards his Ford Taurus jumped in and they sped off.
"Alice, I don't think we will make very good parents."
ADVENTURE IN WONDERLAND.
Leah was a bored house wife. Husband always away on business trips- money was his first love, his wife was just a necessity, a well to do Anambara man needed a TROPHY WIFE and Leah was that. She drowned herself in bottles of the finest whiskey, her indulgences were well funded, and of course money was not the issue. Today she had plans, and for imagination, she was blessed beyond measure. She has like a twenty different persona living inside her head and the drinking makes their presence very obvious.
Today, she let the killer free.
She was drunk and passed out she did, wonderland she went- here she was free to live as she wanted and today she was a killer, first on her list was her husband who abandons her at the first call of business, today he dies. She caught up with him before he stepped out of the house, and she tied him up, she yelled out all her frustration at him, he leaves her alone, unloved, untouched.
Michael, she screamed, you are my hell on earth and I refused to live like this anymore, she shot him.
Madam, the food done ready, the maid called.
I sat there gazing at the brown sky. The sky wasn't new to me, the disc shaped flying objects that now filled the sky were. They seemed to be appearing out of nowhere and descending at the same pace. Truth is i always wanted aliens to exist, now i couldn't believe my eyes!!!. My friend Mary tapped me and yelled we run inside the house. I nodded my head in affirmative and we began running. I was still looking at the sky bedazzled by the sight. It wasn't long before i tripped and fell, Mary who was too scared to even look back kept on running. I watched as one of the ships hovered over my head and flashed a bright light that momentarily blinded my eyes. I guess i must have lost consciousness because when i opened my eyes, i was staring at a lemon green sky with no flying objects. I saw a boy pass by and i followed, i would have called him but my mouth wouldn't open. He finally entered a room and what my eyes saw almost had them crying. I was about to have so much fun i wouldn't remember my home.

Adventure in the wonderland.
With his eyes open he discovered that all his hard work for years just started paying him off. Abdul was a road side mechanic, very kind, generous, socialized and off course hard working. Whenever his customers comes to fix their car at his office he attends to them with all seriousness and never offends any. He's good at his work and his prices are fair. One good day a man from the U.S came to fix his car at Abdul's office, he was amazed the way Abdul treated him and did a job well done, even though it wasn't a big job but Abdul treated him nice and fair. When the man was going back to the U.S he decided to go with Abdul not only that, he made Abdul his personal mechanic and also a general mechanic for all his workers in the U.S. That was how his live transformed.
This contest is perfect for me because I live in the country of wonders ... VENEZUELA !!!
The noble soul
I was standing in the woods thinking about the way out. Then I saw one small boy from afar. He ran towards me and hugged me. I was surprised. He told me that he had lost his way and didn’t know how to get back. I became very sad and confused. Frankly speaking I had lost my way too. I was unware of the way out. Although I comforted him saying that I knew the way. We both started walking in some direction. While talking with him, I came to know that he lived in a city and had come for a picnic with his parents, and also that they must be scared unlike me that just decided to come for some meditation. After some time, we reached the road where my car was parked, and I was happy and when I looked around the boy had disappeared somewhere. Strangely enough I was told by a villager passing by that I was lucky to be coming out safe from animals. When I inquired about that boy, the villager told me that just some months back a boy got lost in the woods and his body was later found to be devoured by an animal. I also got to know that similar incidents had been happening of late and this boy’s soul had been a savior to the people.
Tired of obscenity, I had to walk out the penury that drowns my city
(port Harcourt) to a haven in wonderland in search of an adventure with destiny.
En route this trip to Lagos, besides me sited was this beautiful lady; bound by the chains of wishful thinking I couldn’t speak.
But in time we started talking and the talk went far. She discovered I am an Architect.
In a few hours, our relationship broke bars with shots of information exchange fired. Ecstasy began ice-dancing; she offered to host me in Lagos. With no family or friend, the spirit of love had me found.
One evening over a dinner table, she got me introduced to her father as a friend from college; little did I know that destiny designed me an adventure in the city of wonder.
On knowing that I was an Architect he got intrigued making a few calls.
Out of the blues without a clue of who I was, He got me hired as an architect in his construction company.
With the glamour of kingship I had to mark my wing with a ring down her fingers.
..........What's more for an adventure in wonderland than this............?
ADVENTURE IN WONDERLAND.
Frank, a boy who was invited to the country of wonders. The invitation said "Do not carry much, not even what is necessary". He did not understand the message and looked for his best jeans, shoes, flannels, video games, among other things.
The next day the transport arrived and Juan left; the boys see him imagine it was his first time because he was the only one who carried a lot of luggage. Juan realized that it was not another country, he had not even left his. The place full of trees and a large field. Near his whereabouts was a ravine and the weather was perfect.
No shoes to enjoy the sand, run freely and eat fruit from the trees. The rain attacked the place, they took off their shirts and went to play soccer in the field. When it stopped raining they went to the stream to bathe, it was dark and they were ready to see the full moon while eating fish. Juan, lying down, thought about the invitation. "Do not carry too much, here the necessary remains". Understanding the meaning the material is nothing compared to the wonders of nature. Do not use anything.
When the Old witch gave us a portion to drink, promising it will take us to Wonderland. We had doubts, "It wouldn't hurt to try" I told Esther! We packed a small bag, it could work you know. Inside the bag, we had items like biscuits and soft drinks, torch, books[Esther likes to read alot, she's the one with the fantasy]. I thought there could be danger over there, so I took along a swiss army knife.. cuts through things easily, you can't tell what you'll find. Couldn't decide who to try first, so we had a countdown 3..2..1..I found myself first in a middle of nowhere, looked around, no sign of Esther! Sighs! Why?? I thought 🤔...Suddenly, I got a tap. Scared! I turned, Brethren!!Esther is here!! 😁😂 Hurray!!! The field looks green, colourful flowers... So this is Wonderland!! Wooooow!!! We saw a path upfront and followed it. Along as we walk we saw Dinosaurs, gigantic!! Oh! So they still exists... We moved along, Soon we saw a Monkey with two heads, and about 16 arms.. it's hard to count!! Esther held tightly at my back, scared!! Hahahahaha! I laughed, It wouldn't hurt! Stylishly moved aside though! 😂😂😂
THE PEOPLE OF THE WONDERS.
a very rainy and cold night, after a cup of coffee, I fell asleep deeply, I had a pretty strong day, I had to work a lot to bring the sustenance home, since, I live in a country where you have to work hard to I could half eat, I went into a dream and I found myself in a village, where there was a lot of food and money to buy more and there were clothes and shoes, all the people were kind, the animals were fat and beautiful, there was a lot of planting, rivers, big mountains with a lot of gold, iron, and diamonds, a black liquid under the earth, very carefully controlled, I felt happy in that town, my family ate a lot, dressed and fit, but when I finished in the morning I woke up and lived again my reality , I had to get up to work all day again, the town of wonders had stayed in my dream ...
Simply wonderful.
One day we will understand that life depends on wonderful beings that keep our lives enchanted that illuminate in the dark moments that also promise to take us to a place full of wonders where the streets are resplendent and gold homes are always full of joy in this place there is no need for anything there is no death and you can always find the company of those we love will stop suffering from hunger and pain and we will continue to be differentiated, but if you classify anyone or show others their differences you just have to leave guide on the path that leads to what could truly be the COUNTRY OF WONDERS.
We just have to understand that looking for this place will not get us there, we simply have to have actions and behaviors that will allow us to enter.
Doctor John got home after a long day at work and he called out his wife and son and gave them both a warm hug appreciating them. His wife couldn't understand his strange and unusual behaviour.
“what is going on?,” she asked
With a smile Dr. John sat them down and told them what had happened at the hospital.
I performed an operation on Peter in order for him to regain his sight. A boy who was born blind and everything he knows about this world they told and described to him. The operation went well and today I went to remove the bandages from his face but before I did I asked him a question.
“Are you excited to see this World you have longed hoped to see?”... I asked.
“Of course Doctor… All my life I have lived in a Wonderland, a fantasy I have built in my imagination. For years I dreamt dreams of false light but today I get to journey down to reality and savor the beauty of this world”... Peter answered.
This made me realize how much I have taken for granted...Doctor John said feeling greatful
This was Diego, a 10-year-old boy, his parents had always wanted him to become a great baseball player, they always instilled that sport, they took him to games and training but the truth is that he did not like baseball His passion was soccer. His parents were upset by his attitude every time they talked about that sport, one day Diego at school was playing football with his teammates and the Physical Education teacher approached him when he saw him play so well and said, you are very good at soccer I love you in my team and the day after tomorrow we went out of the city to a championship, Diego surprised and at the same time so excited he said yes. I come home with the news and his parents despite not being as excited as he was given permission. Diego left with the team and when he arrived at the gigantic football field, to see so many people in the stands, balls on all sides and players whom he greatly admired said, this is an adventure in the wonderland.
Wonderland is a relaxation center somewhere in Abak, Akwa Ibom state of Nigeria, where lots of youths troupe to just have fun and unwind. I found myself here few days ago, it was a very spiritual and sacred moment.
The winds were romancing across the trees, I felt hyper excited but a little bit eerie. It was magical I must say, then certain figures began to appear from the woods, having three legs and four eyes, with two dangling out of their sockets.
The apparitions began to eat people raw, licking their blood too, I made to run but discovered I could not.
Oh my God, a hand touched me just then from the back and immediately I woke up. It was all a dream after all. I was sweating all over, panicking and and gasping for breath.
After a hard day's work pushing a cart of water in the neighborhood of Lagos, john wonders how to make the best of tomorrow. a university graduate, after trying to get a reputable job without avail, john now lives in the slum of the city, supplying water to the rich.
his mother an illiterate, who understands the importance of education got him the best education in the country, now lives in the village,poverty ridden.
she shouldn't have to go through all that, john muttered to himself, After much thought and eating the least nourishing food he could find, john plunged into a deep slumber.
Now john can be seen in a teal classic jeep, waving to the people, his name can be heard and read everywhere in the big city, john john john!!! the chants of victory, he just got elected to be the governor of the state, now his mother is proud, All this feats happened in a day, was all this a dream, a wonderland I carved for myself, Am I still a cart pusher, fighting the cold hands of poverty? Is this my adventure, in the wonderland I carved for myself.
ADVENTURE IN WONDERLAND.
One sunny morning Julia and John, were in the mansion of their maternal grandfather, were spending a weekend to rest, they were walking on the banks of a river that was near the house, on the shore was a small boat, they to see closer the fish decided to ride in the boat and suddenly this moved. The current of the river took them to a small cave among the rocks, the current dragged them inside the cave as a kind of waterfall, when they passed this they found many flowers, gigantic trees very leafy, another world was very blue sky. In the boat they got a bird with a bowtie and I speak to them saying welcome to the country of wonders, they surprised they saw the faces but they were not afraid, they got off the boat, they arrived at a cabin full of sweets and food of all kinds , chocolates, sweets, everything was giant after a while they were surrounded by all kinds of animals: birds, rabbits. All with their bowtie and spoke among themselves. The bird told them to come will be a trip they will not forget.
Ramses was a ten year old boy who lived on the suburbs of a city, one day on his way to school he was playing kicking stones until he hit one that didn't fly away but lit up and a portal opened and Ramses came in and a parrot was waiting for him when he showed up and said welcome to ADVENTURE IN WONDERLAND. _What is this?, the little one asked.
_ It's a place where everything you dream of, you may find it. ok?
_ What if I wanted to see my grandparents?
_ they are in the loved ones' area.
_ how wonderful! he exclamed. And if I wanted people not to fight over money?
-That's no problem here. Money doesn't exist. We all have tasks to help others.
_and if I wanted to have a beautiful and fast horse?
_You must choose him in the prairies to talk to him and if he accepts you will be friends and have adventures together.
Ramses toured this new world and had many adventures until one day he found the stone he kicked that morning and, he did the same, without suspecting that he would end up waking up at his school desk.

my fear of water!!
I can remember, whenever I'm underwater and I turn towards the surface I see a woman leaning towards me, with a warm face smiling a bright golden hair and dark blue eyes. I told my father and I wrote this apparition. The lottery ticket
