Bitcoin has hit $100,000 before in other forms of dollars but getting there in US dollars, the world reserve currency is very different. Many of Bitcoin haters are in a state of shock but they're just salty. They feel they missed out when BTC first went to $100, then $1000, then $10,000 and now $100,000. They will still be hating when it hits $1M a coin. If you plan to still be still alive in 10 years and you dont already own some BTC, you kinda owe it to yourself, to have some. You think BTC will be under $100k in 10 years?

BTC's future is still very bright but sadly growth comes at a cost. We saw the release of the first spot BTC ETF this year; others like ETH and SOL will follow suit. This is fantastic for crypto but it comes at a cost. Having a BTC ETF is a 1-way door meaning, we cant go back. Did BTC just become "controlled" under our noses while we cheered for it? Could we have even stopped it? If number go up, me happy.

If BTC follows the path of GOLD as a traded store of wealth, owning actual BTC in the future could be complicated. Spot ETFs are the first of many ways we'll be able to invest in BTC in the future. In 5-15 years, BTC supply could be increased "on paper" whenever Blackrock decides to go after regulation on a BTC ETF that is not spot letting them issue ETFs while holding a faction of the BTC.

Sounds crazy but believe it are not, the ratio of traded paper gold to physical gold is around 250 to 1. At that ratio, BTC 21M supply increases to over 5.2 billion. Can you imagine over 5 billion BTC be traded? Anyways, by the time Bitcoin hits $1,000,000 which it will, BTC might be trading at a premium in much the same way physical gold sells at a 10-15% premium over the spot price.

I am personally lucky to have seen BTC cross over the $1000, $10,000 and now $100,000 milestones. I lost my BTC to the mtGox hack in 2014, left crypto and returned in 2017. Got paid out for mtGox this year, 10 years after the hack but because BTC has increased 120x, my payout was decent and I look at mtGox now as a forced HODL wallet was 85% fees, 😂. If that is too much math for you, I got back 18x the dollar value I lost back in 2014.
