There are many contests, challenges and competitions scattered across the Steem platform.
They present a great opportunity for people to have fun, engage with others on the platform, and win prizes - STEEM, tokens, upvotes.
But alas many contests don't get the visibility and the participation they deserve.
So I thought I would revive this listing of contests that I first did almost a year ago.
Please let me know of any other current contests you know of. I am sure I have missed quite a few.
If you are running a contest currently and I have missed it, please accept my apologies. Send me the details and I will add it in.
If you would like to help spread the word about all these great contests, you are welcome to resteem this post as well as the invidual contest posts.
You can also share them in your communities and in your Discords.
Contests are a great way for newcomers especially to get more involved in the platform and to build up connections.
They may also be a good way to attract people to join Steem - everyone likes the chance to win something for free.

I run a weekly Steem price tipping challenge (last round can be found here), a weekly upvote giveaway (not really a contest but it´s finally getting some traction, last round is here) and I also organize random photo contests on various themes :)
