However, my father told me that his mother (my grandmother) was swimming across the Portuguese river, a river that runs from west to east the territory of the State of Portuguesa and the south of the Cojedes State, within the Central Western Region of Venezuela. And she crossed it in its widest part in the middle of August when in Venezuela it is the rainy season.

And mounted on horse, she drove cows to make them move from one bank to the other. It would have taken me a lot to meet that brave woman who was my paternal grandmother.
