The Native platform

Native is an Ethereum-built platform, It is a community in which a group of individuals and organizations with a common interest come together to create a platform that enables other communities to thrive and achieve their set goals in the best possible ways.

For every community, there is a culture and Native is not an exception.

A community is a group of people with common interest coming together to achieve their common goal in a faster and better ways, there are also possible challenges which can be faced by such communities these may include but not limited to

  • leadership: for every community if the leadership is not properly structured with proper guidelines for them to follow, the community might find it difficult to thrive as most of the decisions will be based on personal interests.

  • Membership: not all communities are accessible globally and at such an individual with a particular interest might be denied the opportunity to join a community matching his or her interest even though such a community is available somewhere and the individual might not also have the resources to set up such a community locally.

  • Funding: the financial aspect of a community is a very critical part as most communities will have the interest of also building projects

The Native Strategy to overcome these challenges to ensure that the communities thrive

case study Native

  • Leadership: the leadership structure of the native community is so well organized that each member from the top to the least has it’s set guidelines of the rights and limits to what can be done, this ensures that every member at every stage is focus on same set of interests

The structure:

Curators:

  • The administrators of Native communities
  • Have the deepest knowledge of the community’s initial vision
  • Are a filter to ensure only beneficial content is added for members to view and vote on
  • Approve or deny work created by community members

Members:

  • Members join communities with values, interests and goals they care about
  • Membership grants these individuals certain rights
  • Members make crucial decisions regarding capital deployment and community direction
  • Members have the power to replace Curators
  • Members can join multiple communities

membership: to join the native platform, all the user needs to do is to visit the Native platform, and purchase the Native token (NTV) using the Brave browser and a Metamask wallet, you can also convert your Native token to the token value of a community of your interest this will enable you to join such community by purchasing their tokens. With this strategy of Native you can easily join a community of your interest with distance restrictions all you need is just to purchase the tokens of that community and join.

Funding: The funding aspect of a community is done in a very unique way in Native, once you join a community you will be able to;

  • Vote on issues that are important to you
  • Decide and support which projects will be funded
  • Earn tokens by completing tasks for the community
By voting for the topics of your community you are also improving the reputation of the community also you are able to make strategic decisions on which projects to be funded. And finally when you complete tasks for your community you get rewarded with the community tokens and at the same time the community’s overall value goes up.
