OK, adding a twist today to kind of put a little fun into the last few days of summer for some of you (school already started here). For those familiar with me, I post the Song of the Day about this time every day. I randomly pick a song I like and share a little bit about myself and/or the song. Some songs I pick because they spark a memory or thought, some are tributes, others I'm trying to make people aware of less-known artists and sometimes I just think the song is funny. Today's twist is I'm adding a contest to it... my first contest.
Today's song is a tribute. I'm going back to April, 2016, long before I joined Steem It, but still worth doing. Prince's music brings back so many memories and even puts a little bounce in my step. It turns out he quietly did a lot for people. I vaguely remember hearing a little here and there about it while he lived but after his death, the stories flowed. ...hmmm.... makes me think of someone else (I just decided who I'll pick for tomorrow's Song of the Day!). Like or dislike him or his music, generosity speaks loudly for a person.
Picking which song was tough because he has SO many that I love wether he was on his own or with others like The Revolution or NPG. In the end, I opted for "Let's Go Crazy." It isn't my favorite Prince song but it jumped out at me. It's getting to be the end of the week and I'm starting to drag. Listening to this song put a little fuel in my tank. Hopefully it'll do the same for you.

Well, it's after the deadline so the contest is now closed.
The easiest clue to find for my favorite team was in this post. ... it's the Song of the Day! After Prince died, "Let's Go Crazy" became the song played at Xcel Energy Center each time the MN Wild score.
While there weren't many entries, I thank all 3 of you for participating and congratulations to @dottie and @hhelenbby for getting it right.
