This is so true. I never realized how much damage technology may have done to communication and how much loneliness it caused until now. We may talk to people from all over the world on so many platforms, we may even see them through Skype, WhatsApp and other platforms that allow video calling, however, none of that compares to having them around physically when it really matters.
I do have a question about this though. Most people try to have distance relationships with people probably in another state or country through social media. Does this also mean they start to see them as things and not persons anymore?
