I used to have an old wooden boat I grew up with. It was older than me, and patched up so much it was more patch than boat by now.

I fixed it up in 2012 and had to (in addition to alot of tar and boat-sealant) use a stick of butter with me to keep it from filling up with water

I planned to do a major overhaul on it someday, give it a new keel, etc.

Sadly in 2014 someone took it on themselves to burn my beloved old boat.

Now I have nothing material I cannot part with. Everything can burn, and I will walk away from it and start anew
