The question is definitely hard to answer because we have a lot of necessities in life considering our basic needs are more than one.

But if I could select one, that would be money. This is not about being a slave to money but it is the best solution to live. If I have enough cash, I can buy the basic things needed to live. I could also share it to my family and even to the community.
