Welcome Steemians to the edition #4 of the "Puzzle of the Week".
Your Weekly Contest to Burn Some Neurons! :D
This week's Puzzle #4 is about Books.
Yesterday I was reading a book and decided to separate a paragraph and replaced each letter of the alphabet with another. For example A is equal to Z, B equal to R, C to F and so on. Of course none repeats.
Can someone tell me the title of the book I was reading?
HINT after resolving the paragraph you can search the title of the book with the help of a search engine on the Internet.
To qualify for the reward there is only one requirement and is that you have to vote the post. I am doing this by myself, no "Whales" include here... for now ;)
If there are two correct answers given with a few seconds, maximum 1 minutes difference between one and the other, the second answer will receive a consolation prize of 1 Steem :) And remember that you can also participate in the Puzzle of the Week to face a greater challenge and of course win a better prize if you solve it.
Dracula - Bram Stoker
How???
They googled it,
https://www.brainbashers.com/showpuzzles.asp?puzzle=ZXVU
WHAT? Oh cmon... I wrote a little script to change the letters I found out so far.... I was almost there.
But 45 minutes round about... should be able to solve it even without google... :>
Do you still have the script? Can you finished? I will write about it and all the SBD I get from the post will go to you man! You can write but I think I have more followers, more opportunity to get more reward... just let me know. Cheers!
Here is the script... nothing special.

Just had to make all letters lower case and then replace with uppercase letters. Otherwise already replaced letters would have been replaced again. I don't really think it's worth writing about. :P
By the way.... I also had a script for your 10010111010101 puzzle...
It searched a dictionary for words that match certain patterns in your binary code. This was more complicated but unfortunately I've overwritten it with the current script. :D
Are you in Discord? Can we talk tomorrow? Do you have time? Let me know please. Thanks a lot for finish the script :)
Shit! You did??? Sorry man....
Yah @mkt I tried to solve it as well, then I refreshed this page and saw the answer so I just copy-pasted the text to google and saw the answer.
Yes you are right! But you can search the internet for it or you can have fun doing it.
Edit Upped just for visibility
This is so not cool... He didn't make this himself then either. He was probs just too lazy to make one himself
Agreed... If this really was just taken from some other website, which it looks like it was, I may be unfollowing @juanmiguelsalas. If you are looking for a contest with original content, please check out my weekly trivia contest: https://steemit.com/contest/@misko/weekly-trivia-contest-2-40-sbd-100-steem-payout-for-correct-answers
You can unfollow if you want :D No problem! You really talk a lot before looking how much I work... just because you have a contest... first I am paying this from my own pocket, second, yes, from time to time I look for other puzzles in websites, it is normal, you would love to know how much they are repeated on the Internet.... Reazon why I make a turn to each puzzles to make it more funny. Would be very knive to think I can take all this puzzles from my head, one each day :P Honestly, go to make "propaganda" to your constest in another part. You even did it one time and I did not say anything, was ok but now.... it is too much. Because of how you behave here now, I flag your comment. Bye bye
It wouldn't have been very hard to change this puzzle though.. You could easily even shift it all just 1 letter and it wouldn't be googlable. I agree that it's for a big part for fun, but it's not fun to have noobies just google it whilst others are trying hard to use their brains.
I honestly have enjoyed the contests that you've put on previously, upvoted them, etc. But to see that this puzzle was just completely plagiarized was very disappointing. You even claim in your post that you were reading the book and came up with the puzzle, which is clearly not the case. I'm not going to unfollow from just one mistake, but you really could put forth a little more effort to change puzzle so that they aren't simply just copy+paste into Google. @mkt was actually putting forth effort to solve the puzzle and earn the payout. There have also been previous contests where the wording of the questions were very ambiguous. You should be more clear and concise about what you're looking for as an answer rather than needing to post comments on your own post to continually clarify your question. I really hope you take this as constructive criticism. These could be very fun and rewarding contests if you take the time to make them original and well written.
Your trivia doesn't require much skill. It rather requires simple knowledge and I don't like those contests... Just like many of the others on here.
I respectfully disagree. I try to write the questions in such a way that they require cleverness and resourcefulness to find the answers. The questions aren't written to be answered "off the top of your head". I can understand that this type of trivia contest won't appeal to everyone, but I don't agree that it "doesn't require much skill".
Congratulations! You got it first! :)
I was not able to light on any map or work giving the exact locality of the Castle Dracula as there are no maps of this country as yet to compare with our own Ordance Survey Maps. And I was unable to solve the puzzle in a timely fashion.
So an A in this paragraph is a Z in reality or a Z in this paragraph is an A in reality? Or both?
I figured out 1 letter... :D
This are just examples! They are no pairs, it is not like A=Z so Z=A NOT....A can be = Z but Z can be = T... You have to find it. And I am pretty sure they are not mistakes this time ;)
Oh okay... But it's kinda hard then xD
Is the weekly contest, should be hard ;)
waiting for someone to post his progress and then continue with that..
