It feels like only yesterday I was holding my contest for 200 followers! Time goes by so fast, but here we are again. This time, I wanna try something a little different; I want you to tell me something scary in just three lines. That's it, give me an original three line horror/thriller story. There'll be 3 winners, with prizes ranging from 1SBD to 0.3SBD, as well as Steem Basic Income shares for all winners and one runner up.

Breathless as I ran to my car.
Feeling safe as I sat, about to turn on the ignition.
Cold hands rested on my shoulder from the backseat and then a voice "Leaving so soon".

Well my most recent horror story is that of what we live in my country Venezuela, A minimum salary of 5 USD with a liter of milk as an example that costs 1.5 USD. You will tell me that more horrendous than that, it is not a mystery that many We Venezuelans have looked for steemit as a main source of income but there are times when we win others, and this has an impact on our diet.
Not that I can enter really but three lines to scare you and get the ball rolling! I couldn't resist -
He woke up late, drenched in sweat, it was already a warm day; the sunlight streaming in through the blinds making it harder to open his eyes. He had been tossing and turning all night, the blanket covered his face, half asleep, he lifted his hand to pull it back, to breath. His fingers ripped clean through what should be fabric, the sticky webbing clinging to his fingers as he opened his eyes to register the spindly, black, hairy legs of the giant house spider resting on the web millimeters above his face.

Yesterday,
Drenched with terror, sitting on the pavement, a cold dark night.

Am I awake or is this a dream..can't move and can't close my eyes. I'm looking at a face directly in front of me...wait a moment - this is my face! Just the skin with closed eyes..what's happening? I feel something in my neck..have to sleep again..what a nightmare ..I hope to wake up at home in my bed.
Her body all devoid of life that characterize her in some point. The only thing that I could do was cry of pure shame and regret. I had killed my little girl, as the monster I am, I decide to touch her, i just want to feel her one more time, but then she quickly grabs my hand and drops a faint whisper in my ear: “Never again Daddy”

My ear’s where ringing so load that I felt like my head would implode and my sight was barely there but I could still tell I was crawling through dismembered or dead bodies. For those of us who had survived the nuclear attack, we where now considered the unfortunate ones.
