Hello everyone of Cryptopia and Steemit!
The Marketplace has arrived. The "official" Grand Opening should be scheduled right around the corner. The marketplace can be found in the @ifc discord. ENTRANCE

Every marketplace needs that "anchor" store right? And we can't have the IFC not represented! I welcome you to the IFC General Store! All of your IFC gear available in a full function online store through the website www.spreadshirt.com! All of the images below are screenshots of the actual IFC General Store with actual merchandise for purchase. Currently the site has not launched. All of the logistics will need to be discussed and figured out.
A little bit about spreadshirt straight from their site:
Spreadshirt was founded in 2002 in Leipzig, Germany. Today it is one of the world’s leading e-commerce platforms for on-demand printing of clothing and accessories.
Sellers offer their merchandise or personalised products, showing their designs on Spreadshirt’s Marketplace or thousands of independent shops. Customers can also use the T-Shirt Designer to create clothing and accessories with their own designs or designs from our community.
The IFC General Store
The above picture is the store landing page. After looking through the site design, it looks like we have HTML control of the way we would like it to look. If anyone knows HTML code that would be a help! If not we can use their varied of designs.
Spreadshirt is a neat site. We upload an image and place it on the various pieces they have available. The customer then has the option to adjust image sizing, placement, and can insert text! For this shirt I had inserted the text below the graphic as a customer. Which reads Information Finding Championship.
Most of the merchandise is clothing, mens, womens, kids, and babies. But there are some miscellaneous items like the coffee cup above.
Every item has a base price and we add an up charge for our graphic. The upcharge plus a commission on the base price goes to us and the rest to Spreadshirt. We could invest into the @ifc account and payout our wonderful designers! Members can submit designs and if they sell they get rewarded! A WIN WIN!
The designs are endless! This is all just a sampling of what we could do. I would need high resolution images. I think the artifacts would be awesome. I just need the image size larger, so we can fill the shirt more!
Each design comes with a description. There we can acknowledge our designers and as way to keep track of who's design it is as well! The site also has a complete statistic tracking page, that we can share to keep everything transparent with the members.
Along with this awesome water bottle, this site does posters as well! Unfortunately none of the images I have were compatible to finish the design. I just need to edit the image sizing in a photo software of some sort. If I get the chance I will add the poster image in an update.
There you have it! Walking into the marketplace just would not feel right without an IFC General Store. Your Information Enlightens the World.

love this!! 👏👏👏 what a cool idea @iexplore! I have a redbubble and I didn't even think to put Steemit stuff in it! you're SO right the ideas are freakin endless! Now if only we could get spreadshirt or redbubble or zazzle to take steem/sbd then we'd really be cooking! 😂 Potentially if you had means you could offer to sell them for steem and do the tranfser to whatever currency yourself, purchase it online and ship to buyer. Great project!
Absolutely @amariespeaks!! I think we can manage a deal to purchase and ship to a buyer if they would like to use Steem as a method of payment!
The longer we succeed here and the more popular crypo gets, more and more companies will be accepting it as a valid currency! It's exciting for sure!
These are some nice designs i think I'm with Everyone else on that black hoodie with @amariespeaks' design! Great entry and i really Hope the marketplace takes off...at the rate we're going it just might do well!!!

I also love that one 😎😉 but @yeszuzia's firat castle image on a cell or laptop case would be my favorite! I think yours on the black hoodie up there looks great too! This is such a fun idea and a great way to support the IFC and it's fantastic artists

Awesome entry. :) I actually already had a hat made on zazzle.com but my camera on my phone is messed up so it's blurry or else I woulda shared it sooner.
I definitely think we need a shop! I'm not sure if zazzle is better or your site, we should try to figure out which one pays better.
In regards to where the profit goes, I would agree with you that we should put it back into the IFC.. I'm not exactly sure what it should go towards.. Maybe our first commercial or meet up or something like that.. And we would have to sell a LOT for it to add up, but.. Who knows.. Maybe in time we'll get a lot of players and it will add up.
Either way.. Something like this was already in the making, but.. Your idea is an amazing one. :) And I think doing a community page either on zazzle or the site you used and then adding it to The Marketplace is an awesome idea!! :D
Definitely need to discuss the details more, but.. Awesome entry! Love this one. Also, that black hoodie with the picture @amariespeaks did is epic! I want one! :D
Awesome hat! I remember seeing that before! I'm glad this idea is in the works! Definitely something to consider, especially with all the aweomse art we have already plus the talented artists here on steemit and in the IFC. If I can help in anyway let me know! I will look more into the details of both spreadshirt and zazzle!
Word. :) and.. Agreed! In regards to helping, I think a good start is just checking which service to use. And then umm.. We can go from there. We'll have to have a community vote at some point to decide how the money is spent that we make from the sales.

Epic @iexplore! Definitely if the community keeps growing I could see lots of potentially with this. Maybe there will even be an exchanger or someone who would be willing to purchase products and send them in return for Steem at the going rate! So good :D
Thanks! Yes I thought the same in regards to paying in Steem! I'm sure we can figure something out! We could even donate some as prizes maybe?
