It is greatly appreciated...I'm at a crossroads in my life, where I am actually contemplating writing full time! scared face
But if ya don't make plans that scare ya...Whats the point in it all?
You asked about inspiration, it is part based on experience, real life events, wondering how it happened.
Part based in fiction to create an intimated, dramatic backstory.
I tried to write it quickly so i didn't even know where the story was going myself (I'm as surprised as you haha)
One thing I would like to add is that while you are offering encouragement to others, I would like to reciprocate for a moment, some of your insta stuff is très cool, me and a workmate were watching it as I explained about the contest.
Loving the outdoor stuff, not to mention the enormous flyswat!

Funny... I was just practicing that poem for the first time in a long time today.. I do like the fly swat line haha... classic. Might perform it tonight... it's my last open mic that I'm hosting here in Guatemala before heading home to London... It's gonna be a good one! Feels weird to be going home.
