Fred and I had been married for 2 years. I tried to be the best wife I could be but I always got beatings for my slightest mistakes. The last straw that broke me was the day I had menstrual cramps and could not finish the cooking I had started. My husband came back a bit early and when he found out that food was not ready, he gave me serious beatings that I woke up the next day on a hospital bed. That was when I knew this love had ended.
