RE: Make A Difference Contest • Round #4

in #contest7 years ago

Well I'm not sure this counts but I'll share it anyway. I'm currently a 300L University student and this stuff happened in my year one(100L) on campus. It was around 2am I left my room going to our praying ground that I met this young lady barely able to stand and forcing herself to walk.
So she called me and told me to help her get to her room cos she was sooo weak and all, she didn't even have her shoes on. So I said okay and I took her by hand so she would not fall and we were kept walking slowly till we got to her hostel Gate. Luckily for us, she saw her friend outside the Gate and I handed her to her friend. And there was this look of gratitude on her face and I was really happy I helped someone. I asked for her name and room number to check on her later. But unfortunately when I checked on here the next day, the roommates told me there was nobody with the name. I think I saw the girl about 4dayster after the incidence and she couldn't get my facecos it was midnight. So I asked about her health and she said she was fine. I was glad I helped her. Cos even if I chose not help her, someone else would. That's the funny thing about life. If you don't help people, someone else will surely help them.
