As a kid,I grew up seeing the psychiatric illnesses that were a kinda hereditary for my family.I saw my father,sister and uncles suffer from different kinds of problems from depression to schizophrenia.I even lost my father as a consequence of same.To be true,I ,myself ,was also very afraid that I might get one too as you can't control the genetics.
So without telling anyone,I started dreaming of becoming a psychiatrist...a good one.. and I worked a lot for it.My financial status would not allow me to invest so much money for medical education but I am very thankful to god that I got a scholarship for pursuing my dream and I am a third year MBBS student now and will be hopefully completing my degree very soon.
