How One Piece Of Content Changed My Life.

in #content7 years ago

I am very certain about the idea that one piece of content can change your Life

I know this because of what happened to me early this year

On january, i was terribly broke and I was scouring the Web of things i could do to earn Money

Then I saw the piece of content that changed my Life on 99bitcoins , an article of how to earn cryptocurrencies and Steemit was the first on the List

I followed the link to Steemit and have not looked back since

Good content can also change the life of not only the person who reads it but it can do wonders for the person that writes it

The evidence is all around us, there are steemians all around who had no sure source of income but are now sustaining themselves from their steemit earnings

How To Create Good Content For Your Personal Brand

A lot of people have still not discovered their own place in creating content they care about

That is why People still copy videos and Articles that they feel will get them upvotes and post it as an external link on their blog

They still aren't sure how to bring their personal voice to the Steemit Ecosystem

If you are not sure of where to begin, don't worry it is actually simple. Whatever you love talk about that

@hanshotfirst loves movies so he writes movie reviews, @papa-pepper loves nature and he does not fail to let us know that

Remember everyone Started with Zero Followers and 25 Rep, so your case is not different

You need to find what you love and give good content about it

You are One Piece of content away from what you want to happen happening

It was the same week I set a goal to make $100 SBD on a post that i ended up making $400, i would not have gotten that money if I populated people's feed with low quality content

I agree that some people are not good enough to make the kind of content they want

It is tough to hear, but it isvtrue

Talent and skill matter and a lot of people still find themselves focusing on their flaws and weaknesses

Doing that would not help you, you have to find out what you can do

You can do interviews like @infovore or start a project to solve a particular problem you are seeing

There is no excuse you have not to speak to the world, it just doesn't have to be your voice all the Time

What If People Don't Like Your Content

This is what you have to keep at the back of your mind, not everyone would like your content

Sometimes your content or POV can be wrong, and sometimes It will be right

But you have to keep at it and know how to manage reader reaction

But when you are right and continue to be right, people will start looking to you as a thought leader and you find out that your blog will start gaining traction

I know that Steemit is not like other platforms, despite my following there are still times i post and get little earnings and feedback

But i know my end game and I know that my consistency will pay off

My advice to you is to know your strenghts and keep at it, it will pay off in the end

I agree with you @ogochukwu. In adition , @opheliafu loves painting so she kept it real, @surfermarly loves waves so she writes about surfing and dont forget that @allasyummyfood can cook very good , so she writes about foods plus @crypt0 kept it real with regard to cryptocurrencies (and the list goes on and on...) . We all have our core-competencies and should keep it real even if its good to learn and write about new things sometimes. Good post (Nwanne) and more success to you.

I Just went through your comment section and found out that you have been spamming people's post with the same comment.

Begging for followers is frowned upon on Steemit, engage with people and they will folllow you naturally.

If you continue with this you will get flagged.

Great post. I also believe that you need to find some sort of niche, although I don't think you have to stick to it all of the time. It's OK with some diversion from time to time. Like I want to talk about Scandinavia and Norway in particular, and since we're a socialist country (which against all odds are doing quite well - for now) and I'm an ancap living in a socialist country I figured that's interesting for at least SOME people. But I can also post some pictures or write about communism or capitalism in more general terms. Not everything I write HAS to be about Norway. And even if only a small percentage of Steemians are interested, with time even that small fraction will be enough people. One should not think that you have to attract absoulutely everyone. I think what you end up with then is just nothing really interesting - trying to please everyone.

Hello @scandinavianlife

Of course you can leave your niche from time to time

I write posts about cryptocurrency from time to time, even though that is not my field.

Thanks for reading.

@ogochukwu

Wonderful advice.

And honestly just what I needed to hear right now ! Thank you

And mine!!!

Inspiring post bro! I'm building my following slowly but surely, keeping in mind that a break through moment can come at any time.

Yes, to ALL of that. Resteemed!

"applause" love this read man.
Your perspective is always inspiring

Hello @nickytothenines

Thanks for reading and for your kind words.

@ogochukwu

Good advice. Will follow accordingly. You've got to find your niche.

Thanks @ogwochukwu. Your content is very helpful. Consistency is very key even though the upvotes dont measure up to our expectations.

Very nice! But i believe if you are correcting someone, you should already beforehand be someone who practice what you preach! There 👈 practice come before preaching! I can see the author of this article @ogochukwu upvoting virtually all the comments he made on his own article even when he was correcting someone for spamming. This is really bad and you are reaping off from the reward pool of the content curators! In fact it can be termed taking from people. You should upvote your own content or articles as a show of self love, i mean who doesn't love himself or herself? But upvoting your own comments every chance you have is bad for the general steemit community!

One piece is amazing
