Wow, that's a lot of crap to have to deal with. And cold weather doesn't get anyone moving faster, unfortunately.
Hopefully they get their act straightened up and all of these issues are fixed ASAP!

there are some other issues but I started to get upset so I just ended it with the ice stuff. Right now that is more important then the walls or even how none of the doors are right. And how they did the outside, I don't know if you saw my posts from yesterday but yeah I am so over this.
Yikes. I just caught up on your other 2 posts. That's a lot of unfortunate issues to deal with! I didn't know that so much had to go into building a home like that. I guess this is good information in case I ever decided to build something in a similar manner.
Had the builder never dealth with contractors in your area before? Is that possibly why you're encountering these issues? I know that's not an excuse.. but it could explain the reason for the poor attention to detail?
That is what my husband and I think that they don't have the people in place in this area that they claimed to have and they are hiring people who have no clue what they are doing but the builder is responsible and right now I feel like the main office is ignoring my calls. They didn't answer any of my calls when I called from my phone but answered on the 3rd ring when I used my sons phone to call.
Create a few Google Voice phone numbers if they keep ignoring you. It's easy to just use the google voice number from your phone (and it's free as long as you're not calling internationally). Also could be good to have a lawyer call from their office during your "free hour" or 30 minutes or whatever they give. Just to give them a little extra push.
You seem to have most of this covered though and have thought out how you want to move forward with any future delays. Sorry if my advice is uninvited. Feel free to ignore me :)
I love unsolicited advice because it makes me think of other perspectives. So feel free to give it when you have it.
On the positive side, at least you know that your home is going through some of the most extreme weather possible right now, so once these issues are resolved, you shouldn't have any new surprises with cold weather issues in the future!
