Executive Order 6102 is a United States presidential executive order signed on April 5, 1933,
by President Franklin D. Roosevelt "forbidding the Hoarding of gold coin, gold bullion, and gold certificates within the continental United States".
If you own gold and there is a digital trail, in other words, if you did not pay cash for it without a receipt, you might have to hand it over to the authorities if history repeats itself.

Since I do not have many followers I would kindly ask you to resteem.
IMHO people should be at least aware of this.
Thank you!
How have they gotten people to believe in the lie of authority for so long I just don’t know.
We learned to obey from people we trusted , from generation to generation, for thousands of years.
We have been brainwashed by people who themselves were victims of brainwash.
Maybe it ends now if we succeed in waking people up!
What a ridiculous law to pass! It is the fuel that fires Conspiracies!
Ha! Try and claim ownership of my Bitcoin and Alts!
Sorry to burst your bubble...but if I take your cell phone or deny you access to your computer, your bitcoin is useless...all I need is the proper legislation...
IMHO the only way to be safe would be to buy silver with cash and bury it in your backyard 🙂🙂
It hasn't came to that point yet but if it does I would create an offline wallet, not connected to any computer or device (cold storage) and write it down on paper or even better, If my entire wealth depends on it I am sure I can memorise two 34 digit numbers and never have any trace of it.. Until Facebook can read your mind that is.
I can't take my gold with me, if war breaks out or something equally extreme happens I am fucked. In Venezuela people currently are starving and hunting rats and dogs in the street, gold isn't any good to them, but they do use BTC as it is more stable than their state currency.
It is probably hard to purchase bread with a memorized 34 digit number.
Ultimately I am glad that I am already old. If it really get's nasty, I had a good life...
Would not want to live under such circumstances anyways.
Still, silver coins appear the best choice for me. They might still get you some food or gas...
In Kenya more than 50% of wealth is traded in the form of transferable mobile minutes via text message. BTC for bread may not be far behind. I am 22 so I don't have the luxury of a long happy life yet haha
Don't you think that a mobile phone can easily get monitored, hacked or confiscated by authorities? What if electricity fails?
Just saying...
True, it's just food for thought
