A Note to The Conspiracy Theorist.

in #conspiracy7 years ago (edited)

Guess what... The Royal Family are not reptiles.

In other news... The moon landings happened, Diana wasn't assassinated, Cliff Richard (probably) isn't a pedophile; 9/11 was not an 'inside job' and unfortunately, climate change is happening. Further afield... The Rothschilds (or whoever you like) don't control what cities and states do; neither do they control what universities or faith groups do. They also do not control what any sovereign state does. Most importantly, they do not control what we do as individuals or as groups do. FACT.

However, the planet Earth could very well actually be flat.

Conspiracy Theorists' don't do anything. And herein lies the problem. They don't challenge the vast conspiracies set against themselves and all the foolish, brainwashed non-believers (like myself). That's actually a large percentage of the population who do not engage in political activism: 'it's not worth it' because of the inherently helpless nature of the situation. It also turns posting a blog about how Princess Diana was murdered by the Royal Family into some sort of dangerously subversive political act, when in fact nobody except fellow conspiracy theorists gives a fuck.

Have you ever tried talking sense with these people? It's frustrating, to say the very least. Thier arguments often relate to facts that are true individually, however, misleading when taken in context and applied to a series of other events. There's never any consideration of the vast amount of people necessary to orchestrate something on as large a scale as, for instance, the moon landings. How on earth do you keep so many people quiet for so long?

In a way, it's kind of sad. These theories question power, and ultimately the narratives of reality which flow from it: it is undeniably very important that this happens. However, taking on board such theories and reclining into a state of hopelessness about being able to act upon the 'vested interests' involved, is no good for anyone. In fact, it wastes valuable time and the critical minds of potentially valuable people.

Maybe we should sow shut the mouths of Alex Jones, David Icke, Donald Trump and the myriad of others spouting this crap and filling the pages of the internet with bollocks.

What do you think? Am I by writing this blog part of the conspiracy to avert the eyes of the Steemit masses?

Regards
