I'm sure that some are listening to you over the decades. it is becoming common knowledge by now that subtle manipulation is going on via the internet, I would presume. But then perhaps we should not jump to presumptions. Even this post won't be seen by many, and so the information is missed by the majority.

Attention span is definitely shrinking as we struggle to keep up with the increasing volume of information. As a result we can miss the details sometimes.
