As the world goes to war in space, the most important war is with the mind

in #consciousness5 years ago (edited)

The United States Space Force was launched today by Trump and Pence as the sixth branch of the US Armed Forces. They are preparing for war in the final frontier, as it’s called. The US already used to have a more limited Space Force but this is a ramp up basically to be fully launched in 2020.

With what we have heard regarding my last post on China’s plan to take over the world by controlling the trade routes, it is no wonder that America is going one step beyond and claiming the stratosphere. If China can claim the entire South China Sea by building 10 000 foot long runways on what were coral reefs, with radar to enable Pacific Ocean dominance, then I presume it’s only natural for America to simply want to control space.

Recently two aircraft carriers, one American and one Chinese, almost collided in a game of chicken 14 km offshore one of the little island military bases, and China claimed territorial waters. So they are pushing the envelope and there is no going back now. It is a countdown to military confrontation in the Pacific, as well as the Straits of Hormuz, off the coast of Iran.

It’s just a mater of time. I used to be concerned about how heavy-handed America is toward Iran via sanctions but when I watched a personal talk given by a woman who escaped violent abuse and torture from family and husband under Sharia law in Iran, I felt no pity for the men of Iran any more. They abuse the entire female population of that country from childhood. So war it is then.

The problem is that it was America who facilitated this entire female abuse. Iran had a thriving modern democratic and completely modernized nation in the fifties, with women in universities wearing western clothing, but America sent in troops to overthrow it, and installed the tyrannical Sharia dictator who has facilitated the rape of a nation’s women for the past fifty years or more.

I am certainly not blaming anyone, just pointing out that none of our nations have any moral high ground whatsoever. We all have been usurped by tyrants who committed atrocities time and time again. And who suffers through all of this is perhaps close to half of the planet. So statistically we have a planet of tragedy, suffering and sorrow. We are seriously sheltered here in the first world westernized English-speaking nations of the world at present. Some exceptions aside of course.

As a result of observing the perennial military competition and implementation of one tyrant after the other, it seems we cannot expect life on earth to return to the good old days of peace and prosperity because firstly, there wasn’t much of a time ever where such a thing even existed. And secondly, the future is looking ever more grim day by day and Force by Force.

Therefore, we need to be detached from what will inevitably be taken away from us – our very lives, at any unknown moment. Until that time, we would benefit ourselves to stock up on reserves as well as hard currency and investment in gold, silver and Bitcoin. But more importantly, we need to secure our state of mind, our state of consciousness because that is where the real war is being fought.

Think globally and act locally implies seeing the world for what it is and working on oneself and immediate surroundings. The war for the mind of humanity, for your state of consciousness, our perception of reality and what’s really going on, is being fought now and will continue until the end here.

The mind is our closest challenge and to keep it healthy is paramount when times become strained and we are challenged. The glass is both half empty and half full, and that delicate line on the edge of reality that is our subjective interpretation of it, is where we - as consciousness - can exercise the minute free will that we currently possess.

It will favor the person who can be observant enough of the mind, to grab it and direct it rather than let it direct you. The Vedas talk a lot about this very battle to be waged throughout our lives. In the Amṛita-bindu Upaniṣad 2 it says:

mana eva manuṣyāṇāṁ
kāraṇaṁ bandha-mokṣayoḥ
bandhāya viṣayāsaṅgo
muktyai nirviṣayaṁ manaḥ

“For man, mind is the cause of bondage and mind is the cause of liberation. Mind absorbed in sense objects is the cause of bondage, and mind detached from the sense objects is the cause of liberation.”

from Bhagavad Gita as it is ch 6:5 commentary, by Swami A. C. Bhaktivedanta

The implication is that as long as we seek shelter in “fallible soldiers” like nation, and leaders both sacred and secular, as well as our own mind and body or material possessions, we will come up wanting. None of them are to be trusted for full shelter. A rugged detachment will take you far in this school of material and emotional hard knocks. Liberation is in our grasp, all we have to do to claim it, is let go, and we have it.

All the money the madmen spend on keeping the wars going could be used for peace and prosperity for all...

Yes they are mad, that is the key issue.

MK Ultra, Tavistock just a couple of names to be familiar with in this battle.

When I first started reading I was laughing not because I found it funny but rather out of exacerbation of this ridiculous narrow minded and mad thinking that destroying corals and taking over the stratosphere is actually beneficial to life on Earth.

Will these people realise that we all only have one planet and we're kinda fucked if it is uninhabitable?

But you're right, the war in the mind is such that I decided to go on an "information diet" by not watching TV, news or anything like that and it's probably why I'm mostly in a good mood because I am not under the influence of the fear machine. I figure that the information I need to know will come my way by either someone telling me or asking me "did you hear about ....?"

Makes my life easier, and I like easier (that's what she said) :)

Hey there Nicky well done on screening or being selective with what you put into your mind. That is the best way to stay above the needless info and focus on happiness and peace.
