People who are marching to a different drum may also be inclined to be loners. At least that has been true for me, so I will only speak for myself.
When the “thought field” I am occupying is strongly transmitting beliefs that I feel vulnerable to because of my conditioning, I reach a point where I need to physically align with another field more congruent with my objectives. Sometimes the best option seems like a contemporary version of the cave, although I believe the times are calling us to find a way to hold firm to our alignment with the greater truth of our beings no matter what. Easier said than done.
In any event, if you ever get to the point where you feel like you’re caught in a riptide and you will soon reach your exhaustion point and drown, maybe the best thing to do is to stop struggling and find out what remains when the perceived “I” drowns.
The truth
that you are
can’t be touched by thoughts.
